The flaws in the ratings methodology disproportionately negatively affect O'Brien's ratings compared to Leno's, given O'Brien's younger, more tech-savvy audience. Understand?

Tech savvy does not necessarily mean you skip the commercials (can you skip the commercials if you're watching via Hulu?)

(To take a cheap shot, what percentage of Leno's "viewers" are people who fell asleep with the TV on)?

In any event, the point is that just because everyone is dealing with the same broken ratings system doesn't mean that everyone is affected by this broken system in the same way.

I keep trying to find the painting that Conan gave Hanks a few years ago of astronauts landing on the beach at Normandy. That was one of the funniest bits between the two of them.
