I loved that Spurlock tracked down the dissenting views on The Simpsons, I just thought maybe New Orleans might get a mention too. They had a pretty strong reaction to "A Streetcar Named Marge."

Yes, I was pretty much in awe of that guy. We call ourselves collectors? Now that's a collector!

And I agree about going to Brazil and such. It was interesting for a minute, but the special dwelled on it for way too long. The same with the nuclear power segment. I would like to think that most people really the exaggerated nature of the show, but I guess not.

After 20 years that included a number of "reset button" endings (to the point where they even make jokes about it), I don't think the show should even have a dramatic or game-changer ending. Just a heart-warming Simpsons family moment would be plenty.

I truly enjoyed this episode. I liked getting the perspective from the creators and writers on the show. I think Spurlock did a great job for a 1 hour special.

I found my self laughing quite a bit during this special - damn near every clip of they show they played was from the first couple of seasons.. I found myself saying the dialogue line for line.

Was anyone else surprised that Anne Hathaway could sing like that? Now I've got yet another reason to be head over heels for her.

I also liked the distinctive voice she gave her character's off-stage voice. So many times female Simpsons guests starts can feel a little bland in their performances, like it could be anyone.

I totally forgot to record this last night. I know I can watch the episode on Hulu, but does anyone know where I can watch the documentary online?

wasn't one of the disney teen girl flicks she was in, a musical? Her "off stage" voice sounded like a new york accent to my ears.

I think one of the first times she showed off her voice was at the last Academy Awards. She performed a duet with Hugh Jackman, and most people seemed pretty floored to discover that she had such a good singing voice.

She's sung on Broadway and also on an episode of SNL, so it's not too big a surprise anymore.

Anyone notice that when Matt Groening was talking in the documentary that he was inadvertently flipping off the camera?

I know fox.com, but it would be nice if the special aired again.
