Yeah, some good lines, esp. with employee of the month.

What the hell?
It's Jim?
Jim: I did not, I did not,I did not...

We'll just go with the next employee with the highest score, okay?

Son of a bitch!
It's Pam.

I doubled my sales.
From two to four?
Yep.

Best part of the whole episode. The way she said "Yup" and the way it was edited in so quickly was fantastic.

A very cringing episode (in a good way) just knowing what was coming as the kids were doing the song/dance. Good episode.

Pretty cringe-worthy episode. Loved the heartwarming bit at the end with Erin. And she cracked me up at the school! First time we've seen so much of her.

Erin's awesome. I love her in the Subtle Sexuality video.

Don't know what happened, but this show isn't really doing it for me anymore with this season. Been enjoying Parks much more the last few weeks...

I'd love to see this same scenario played out in the British version. I can only imagine how much more cringeworthy it would have been with David Brent handling things.

Same for me. It feels like the writers are trying too hard to make things continue to be uncomfortable when it just doesn't feel like that would be the case. Though, I actually really liked Michael's storyline this week; it felt like something he would do because he'd seen millionaires do it and he wanted to feel that special and loved.

Jim's storyline, on the other hand, felt really manufactured. The office crew had always seemed to like Jim, and for them to turn on him and openly mock him for what was obviously a simple mistake felt really forced in order to make his storyline more uncomfortable, and really artificial in the end. It felt like a quick explanation and return of money from Jim would have cleared it up immediately, which they started but they made Jim clam up and give up trying to make his point, which felt really phony to me.

The writers made Jim act like a dumbass again....like when Charles Miner was around.

I almost could not make it to the end of this episode.

I could not tolerate either storyline. The suspension of disbelief was beyond me.

David Brent probably wouldn't have even made such a promise to the kids.

great, wasnt it?? ;) haha

I thought the episode was great, as usual. Dwight sabotaging Jim, Michael letting the kids down and dwight impersonations were hysterical! As the other poster had said David Brent wouldnt have even made a promise to those kids...probably wouldnt have even visited them either! haha

And wow, no more office until february?!? not approving of this! :( lol

I loved Dwight's impersonations.

I hated Jim's reaction to getting set up. I don't see how hard it was to explain the situation, or just blame Dwight since that's where he got the numbers.

Exactly. They really dumbed down Jim. Seems easy enough for him to explain what happened and where the numbers came from. And Dwight was setting up Ryan...he's not stupid enough to leave his 'plan' on the copy machine and he knows Ryan hates Jim now.

Andy's impersonations were great. All 3 of them. Wish he would have done Andy or Oscar.

Agree this episode kind of sucked. As far as the Scott's Tot's storyline - this show has been on for six years now, you can't just introduce something that was of such importance to Michael out of nowhere. None of it was believable or in turn, even funny.

Didn't like the employee of the month story either. It was too obvious and Jim was out of character with his inability to describe what was happening.

There were a few amusing one liners, but overall this was probably my least favorite episode this season.

Well, I think you totally missed the point. It falls right in line with Micheal's behavior. It was a half-hearted or exaggerated promise he made just to feel good, couldnt keep it, and then swept it under the rug as the years went by childishly hoping it would just go away. Its the same behavior as telling the shareholders they were coming back from a thirty minute break with all the answers to Dunder Mifluns slipping business problems.

Man this ep really piled it on, though. Micheal and Dwight are pure sociopaths. Lock those guys up.

Was there anything at the very end? My damn DVR again cut it off before I saw the last snipet if there was one.
