Re: Scrubs v2.0 - starts 12/1

Hmm thanks for the reminder. I love the original series. Call this a continuation if you want, but this is a spin off in my eyes. I'm also expecting it to sink fast once JD and the other original cast leave for good.

For those in Houston, my DVR said it will air at 12am due to mayoral debates or something.

Don't know for certain but Braff is definitely going after his rumored six episodes. And The Janitor (previously reported as staying) is gone since Neil Flynn is on The Middle. John C. McGinley will probably stay as will Donald Faison. The rest may be gone. The Todd is definitely returning as well as several secondary characters, I'm sure.

I still think this show can continue and still bring the funny. Too bad no more Jordan/Cox interaction though.

Write-up in USA Today on the relaunch and who's back, and who's new.

I love how the word "newbie" has spilled over into mainstream articles by professional writers. Ugh. I wonder how long before we start seeing noob in the paper.

Executive producer Bill Lawrence says the show's success will depend on the fresh faces who'll take over the newbie roles once held by J.D., Elliot and Turk. (Braff, set to direct the film Swingles starring Cameron Diaz, is open to occasional appearances.)

To be fair, "newbie" is a term used within the show itself.

Re: Scrubs v2.0 - starts 12/1

They should have introduced new characters last couple of seasons so this wouldn't be so jarring to some...

I'm open to the change and until the old crew is gone, it's still old Scrubs to me. Even the worst Scrubs episode >>> the best V episode.

I'm pretty sure an actual hospital visit is better than the best V episode.

I agree. I wish they would of called this something else, so I can count last season's finale as one of my favorites.

Why can't you stop watching whenever you want to stop watching?

Wow. I enjoyed the initial run. I haven't kept up on the threads though. Looks like I have some reading to do.

^ That was the best part of the entire run of V.

Wow -- James Franco's brother looks just like him, at least in the photo USA Today used:

The last TV series I watched with a Franco in it was one of the greatest shows ever, so here's hoping this bodes well.

Let's not exaggerate. General Hospital is tolerable at best.
