Re: Scrubs v2.0 - starts 12/1
Some quick thoughts:
-Moving from Sacred Heart (focusing on Interns) to a Med School (focusing on Med Students) seems like a good change
-lol @ the explanation of what happened to The Janitor
-Of the new "main characters" I like Drew (#1), can't stand Franco's little brother, am still not sure about the Female J.D. (Lucy), and found it hilarious everytime Cox says he can't understand Australian Med Student
-Cox and Turk seem like they'll do just fine heading the series without J.D.
-Glad Denise "Jo" is back, but I'm missing Sunny
-Thumbs Up to The Todd's appearances; nice Kelso is back, but it won't be the same without Ted
Nice Gremlins reference. Died when J.D. said "I like to think of an Awesome Blossom as a metephor for our friendship. Delicious, but unhealthy."
I'll probably keep watching, even though it isn't as good as the "Original Series" was in its golden days. The show is worth watching if only to see more of Doctor Professor Cox. And starting next Tuesday I'll be watching Better Off Ted at 9:30 so I might as well tune into this first.

It has some kinks to work out, but I still like it for the most part.
Cole needs less screen time.
Denise was my favorite part of last season, so of course I am glad that she is the one intern that they carried over.
Drew is a good addition.
And I am another one who liked Cox's running gag w/ the Aussie.

Re: Scrubs v2.0 - starts 12/1
It's like the writers wanted to combine JD and Ellliot and out came Lucy... not sure how I feel about her yet.
Australian chick is hooooooottttt...
Loved the House gag with the numbers.
The Janitor's (last?) appearance was fantastic... exactly how I wanted him to leave the show.
Overall, not too bad... I was expecting the worst and was pleasantly surprised.

I was waiting for him to throw in a Hugh Jackman comment whenever he talked to her.
The first episode seemed kind of awkward at first, but I thought it got better as it went along. I wish they would have brought Carla with because I think Turk's only funny when he working off of JD or her.
I loved the Janitor's exit

Yeesh. Not a fan so far, but I'll be sticking with it. So far, it feels like a totally new show with old characters shoe-horned into it, which just feels awkward. Also, I don't understand why they introduced a bunch of new interns last season only to abandon most of them and then change Denise's character at its foundation. Just...weird.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I was a Scrubs-watcher from episode 1. I thought it was a nice change of pace, the classroom stuff is funny, Cox is great as always and I laughed out loud several times.
In fact, Lucy's very first moment made me laugh ("I can look LEFT!) and I thought the Antonio Sabato Jr Lifetime movie sequence was hysterical.
Looking forward to seeing how things go from here.

I didn't realize there was a second episode after the premiere so I only DVR'd one episode.
The new opening feels like a cheap rehash of the original except they added "[Med School]" when they show the backwards x-ray. Also, if Zach Braff is not going to be on the show as a regular why is he still the last one to in the lineup and clips the x-ray. It should be Lucy who does it.
Speaking of Lucy, the inner monologue was passed to her so we shouldn't hear JD's "summary." Its like the show's producers are hoping that Braff won't leave after his contracted six episodes are over.

Not an epic fail, but still a shell of the original.
Lucy was TERRIBLE. If she's the new anchor of the show as JD was, then it's going to be rough watching.
Cole was TERRIBLE. I liked him better on the show when he was originally played by:
And it's kind of sad that Sacred Heart was torn down, lol

I liked it much better than I thought I would. I was laughing quite a bit during the two episodes. I'll have to set my DVR to record long though. It started a little late and cut off a bit early.
The new doctors are fine except for Cole. He's pretty annoying. Nothing really stand out with the rest, but they didn't grate on me either.
on hot Austrailian doctor...and the car wash.

Lucy might work as a small role player but as the "new JD" shes awful. Shes way too whiny. Theres nothing endearing about her. And worst of all shes not funny.

I thought this wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Nothing close to the series in its prime, but still better than most comedies out there.
I loved that Lucy's ranking number kept getting lower as the show went on.
I found it odd that they didn't even mention Carla. Where is she now that the hospital is gone? Stay at home mom?

Turk was wearing his ring at least, so she still exists.
I thought the show was enjoyable. It had enough of the old, blended with enough of the new. Sure it's not going to be the same and I can't say for sure if I'll stick with it for the long haul, but it was nice to have back.

I loved it. I've been watching Scrubs since the start pretty much as well, and this felt very familiar to me. It's not to the quality of Scrubs v1.0, but come on, this was just the first two episodes. I have a feeling that this one is going to settle in just fine.

I was luke warm on it.
+ Janitor's exit
+ Denise, she's always gold
+ #1, he's got good comedic timing although they might be going too wacky
+ Dr. Cox seemed on form, not at the top of his game, but he still delivers
- Lucy. She had some good lines and at times her performance wasn't bad, like when she told Dr Cox that she cries all the time, but she seems like a weak lead, especially with the voice-overs and that's a lynch pin of the show.
- the lack of fantasy sequences. It seems the show is continuing the trend of reducing the number of fantasy sequences while making the "real world' more fantastical.

It was great seeing the original cast back together, but that chick who's going to take over lead when JD leaves after the 6th episode is not good.
I suspect this will be cancelled after a season, maybe halfway through the 2nd (yes I'm considering this a new show)

Re: Scrubs v2.0 - starts 12/1
I liked it. It seemed more like season 6-9 Scrubs than seasons 1-5 Scrubs (which IMO was when the show was at it's best). Maybe not great but enjoyable and it's just familiar enough to make it feel like Scrubs but new enough that it seems refreshing.
Like most of you I disliked Cole and I'm on the fence about Lucy. I can see myself liking her down the line though. I liked pretty much everything else about it. Big ups to Denise, she's my favorite of the "new" characters.
IMO, I think this show can take off without Braff. Yeah I like JD but I have to admit that the character got played out for me towards the end of the show. He just got too over the top for me. Also it's good that they're going back to the roots of the show and focusing on the youngins. As JD, Turk, Elliot and Carla were getting older in the original the show began to take the baby turn and I think the show suffered because of that.
I think the show will end up rehashing a lot of the plot from the original, with Cox and Turk being the mentors (and JD when he's there). We already saw that with the lost cause alcoholic.
