I enjoyed it, Hiro really needs to teleport Samuel to the arctic and (at least pretend) he will leave them there unless he gets back Charlie back and then he can return and take Samuel back to land. Would it work? Who knows, Samuel knows Hiro could kill him without trying, that will not get Hiro any information nore is Hiro one to act in such a manner.

It was ok episode. I think maybe they should have left Sylar out of this season and just focused on the dark carnival. Not that Sylar story isn't interesting we just don't need him as the big bad every season. The cast is huge with to many side stories going on. Wost still they are adding new characters to show that is already packed.

We could probably just have one thread for the entire season should they give this show another.

Re: Heroes -- "Thanksgiving" -- 11/23/09

Decent show, I did enjoy the Bennett family reunion, but the whole Sylar thing is just beyond boring and repetitive at this point. He should have been killed in the season 3 finale and be done with it.

The writers just don't get it. KILL PEOPLE OFF YOU IDIOTS! Again this season they had a chance with Parkman, there was no reason to bring him back, it would have made sense to kill him and Sylar's mind at the same time, leaving fake Nathan alone in Sylar's body without this whole good/bad switching crap.

The carny stuff is getting more and more interesting now that the other characters know that evil dude killed his older brother.

If I hear Hiro whine one more time about Charlie.....

He needs to just forget about her already, or maybe he did with that mind wipe. Who is Watson and why did he teleport off to save him after that?

I don't think it was a mind wipe; that dude has used his powers to restore people memories. Unless it's a Holmes reference and Ando is in trouble, I don't think Watson has been introduced.

I think news will hit soon if it gets another season or not. They only have a few episodes out of the 19 not 'shot' and NBC will announce if it's the final season or getting renewed shortly.
I see it going 3 ways:
1. It get's renewed
2. It gets canned, but gets an additional 3-6 (maybe 9?) more episode order to finish out the series
3. Gets a final season but it premieres in the summer (faster syndication) and will go with the whole "NBC is new year round" deal with Friday Night Lights and (possibly) Chuck.

Yesterday and next week ratings will be the indicator for NBC. Maybe just last nights.

Re: Heroes -- "Thanksgiving" -- 11/23/09

Why doesn't Hiro just go back in time and prevent Samuel from taking Charlie?

If Hiro doesn't want to go back in time for whatever reason, why doesn't he go to the future to see if he even ends up finding Charlie?

Re: Heroes -- "Thanksgiving" -- 11/23/09

Are you guys who want Hiro to do something smart not remembering what show this is?

Heck, I'll play along. I likes Samuel's idea of hacking pieces off him until he talks. Then Hiro goes back in time, tells himself where Charlie is, and doesn't have to do anything to Samuel.

Charlie is probably hanging out with Peter's Irish girlfriend whom he left in the future and subsequently forgot about.

I was hoping Hiro would freeze time and chop off one of Samuel's fingers and repeat until he got the result he wanted. That what I was hoping for. What I was expecting was Hiro saying "Give back Charlie!" Sadly I was right.

I don't know why HRG's ex-wife was huffy about him having a date at Thanksgiving dinner when she brought her obnoxious bf with her.

Hiro should transport Samuel somewhere/womewhen remote and inaccessible and tell him that he will be let free when Charlie is safe. Fuck the waiting around shit.

I actually liked this episode. A lot better than last week that was really laughable and not in a good way.

I liked the Casablanca reference. I loved the dinner at Claire's dad. And I actually liked when Sylar came back, that look, that smile, that being badass.

Next week episode looks really good too.

Such a shame that this season is the best since season one. They really blew it the last few years.

That's what I was thinking. Drop his ass off at a penguin colony in antartica or something.

So I'm confused. Why has Samuel been collecting people with "abilities" if he hadn't seen the recording yet?

Why does Hiro never return a few seconds after he left? That way it doesn't look like he was gone long. Why wouldn't he go back and stop the other time traveler from taking her?

Time travel and TV should not be done.

Exactly.

This was supposed to be a "redemption" season for the show but it's just as awful as the other seasons.
