Never really watched much of VR troopers. I did like that one show that started on the rangers and had spun off into it's own series. The rangers were going there to rescue the people cause they were all slaves. The show was about an alien that landed on Earth after his world was destroyed. It was really good but sadly short lived. He was some kind of bug Anyone know what show I'm thinking of?

That was the Masked Rider which I agree was better than the other series; it was like a Green Hornet Reboot. There was an awesome photo in a Fox Kids Magazine I got where they did a danceoff at that Juice Bar where the dude makes a hilarious O-face.

Big Bad BettleBorgs wasn't bad either.

Didn't those Beetleborgs live in a haunted house with monsters? If not, there was some show like that.

Wasn't that the one with one of the Lawrence brothers?

I stopped watching Power Rangers shortly after Zeo as well when all the original characters left. Jason Frank was definitely my fave, and I had heard about him and Austin St. John coming back later on in the series.

There were a lot of 'crazy' things. The colors, Trini not having a skirt (obviously only one chick from the Asian version), Rita's wand, yada yada yada.

Also, as much as I loved this show when I was a kid (I was Tommy/Green/White Ranger on the playground) and have watched videos of it on youtube (nostalgia) - I never knew there was an unaired pilot.

On the first video just skip to about the 6:30 mark for the start of the unaired pilot episode. Hilarious.

The morphs. "Tyrannosaurus."

Jason Frank returned in 2004 for a season when they had Power Rangers DinoThunder. Dino Zords made a comeback (Tyrannosaurus, Pterodactyl and Triceratops). There were only 3 rangers this time, and Tommy was their teacher in school and mentor. The zord toy line for that season was amazing. They were battery-operated and the Tyrannosaurus' tail would spin like a drill. There were also miscellaneous zords that hatched from eggs and they would interchange with the megazord. Their saws and shields would spin as well. I kind of like those better than the original Megazord.

Wow those clips are corny. I'd forgotten about the season where that little boy was the blue ranger, and when he morphed he became a full-sized adult

Many people didn't realize either that Zach the black ranger is missing half of his ring finger.

A scene from Power Rangers was filmed at my high school's swimming pool too. It was the episode when the soon to be new Pink Ranger Katherine was on the high dive. I remember trying to watch them film.

Zoltar???

Thank god they got rid of that actress for the yellow ranger and kept Amy Jo Johnson

If they re-launch the series, I think it'd be cool to do a prequel. Show Zordon in full form and the events leading up to Rita trapping him in the time warp.

Have you guys ever seen the show with just the Japanese footage? It's terrible. The entire show takes place in that weird moon-like battlefield. At least the show I saw.

I remember on VH1's I Love the 90's one of the commentator made a joke about the black and yellow ranger.

Was she the hot Australian one?

Sounds vaguely familiar; I think it was on a cable channel or in syndication to compete with the others.

Haha, yeah. Also the dog, Jeb. His voice killed me. I had a big crush on Sarah Brown. I was taken by surprise when she popped up on Cold Case for a brief period.
