I enjoyed it until the last 5 minutes. How many times must Kring have a plot device where something is about to happen but someone decides to not wait or to leave? Just get Hiro healed already and move on; no reason to drag it out.
Does look like the rumors are true about Hiro and Charlie.

I fast forwarded through most of the carnival stuff. It was nice to have another Matt-free episode, but I see he'll be back next week. I know many people are sick of Hiro, and he gets on my nerves most of the time as well, but I love his excitement for life and helping people. It's uplifting and comic relief at the same time.
I wonder when the episode will air with the death that's been all over the blogs for the past week or so.

I know who I am, then we hear screaming and terror as he steals all their powers unless he does not wish to right away, that is what he does, and I have no seen anything from any of them that would stand a chance against Sylar. We are not that far in, so far they are kind of boring.
Thing is Slyar needs to be stopped for good and they could have yet they blew it, also do not think I would care if he torn into that entire group for the most part.
I like Hiro's story, he is fun and uplifting.

I really enjoyed this episode and am really digging this season. I'm glad I stuck with it. Peter/Noah were entertaining as usual, as was Emma's story of discovery.
I like the tilted "Batman" camera during the carnival scenes. Nice touch.
I don't have a problem with Hiro, per se, I enjoy those same moments (like in this episode). It's when they write him in acting like a child that is annoying. There is a big difference between possessing a childlike wonder quality and acting like a child.
Despite liking his story last night, I have to take issue with him taking off right before Peter gets there. Lazy writing.

Why didn't Peter just teleport the kid to the hospital? Before anyone says he would have taken the kids power, he was touching Emma after he took Hiro's and didn't acquire hers.
This was the frst episode of the season that didn't feel like a chore to sit through. Probably because there was no Matt and very little Claire.

I noticed this too, when Peter arrived at the hospital and briefly touched Emma. I half-expected him to then say, "Fuck, the colors again!"

I liked this episode and am glad that Hiro is finally doing something interesting. Stopping Sylar could have some pretty cool ramifications. The carnival story needs to pick up, though.
I heard Elisabeth Rohm is going to appear. She sucks.

Peter took the kid's power so he no longer could teleport. It would've been too dangerous to take the kid. He knows when he takes a power from someone. He has to concentrate. Close his eyes. Until the transfer is complete. He can touch people normally without taking their powers. When Hiro and Peter have teleported they also have to concetrate as to exactly where they will end up. Hiro has mastered this while Peter needs more practice.

Then how did he get Emma's power last episode? He didn't realize he had them until he went to use his super speed and he couldn't do it anymore.

Spoiler:
I think with Emma and Peter, he didn't know she had a power so when he touched her on the sidewalk, it was empathic.

They are new to this season. The season started out with the carnies at a funeral for Samuel's brother (I didn't even know the leader's name, I had to look it up on IMDB). I have no idea where they came from or where they're going.
