6 episode final season
Episode 1 "Borrowed Time"

Pretty good episode, but the resolution to Neal's kidnapping felt kind of anti-climatic.
And really? Neal is infiltrating a group called "The Pink Panthers"
RIP Rebecca/Rachel.
I had a feeling they would write in a pregnancy for Elizabeth and Peter for the final stretch.

I was surprised that they used the name "Pink Panthers" as that is a real group.

These six episodes are going to go by too quickly.

Good ep., but I'm fine with this being the end. I hope they give it (and Neal) a solid resolution.

Enjoyed the episode, and as someone already said - the remaining episodes are going to fly by. Will miss this when it's gone.

Well it was a fun mini season. But I thought the finale was abit wonky. It seemed like a very middle of the road ending. Still, I'd like to see Neal and Peter again. Possibly in some type of TV event series or movie.

Well Peter knows Neal is alive and most likely in Paris. Maybe he and Elizabeth will take a trip and run into Neal and Mozie. That Mozie hung around for months to help sell the con was a nice touch. If he had just disappeared and the FBI is wondering where the $23M got to it would have started a manhunt. As it was they had no one to pursue.

I loved the finale, really sad to see the show go. One of my all-time favorites.
Part of me knew he wasn't dead, but they sold it pretty hard. It was obvious Peter's son was going to be named Neal, especially after he avoided saying his name twice, but it was a nice touch.

Great finale. Maybe I'm imagining it, but I saw some homages to Rififi.
I'll admit it -- they conned me. When Neil got shot, I figured "It's a con." The longer they drew it out, the more I thought maybe he had been shot. By the time Peter and Mozie were in the morgue, I figured they had killed Neil. I was glad to be proven wrong.
This was a fun show. I'm going to miss it.

Edit: Turns out your right. I didn't get that that was why they focused on the card in Neal's locker.

Decent enough ending to the mini season.
I'd like to think Mozzie was in on it and playing the con to avoid extra suspicion.

My only complaint was that they took down the Pink Panthers too easily. In fact, I think this is the first plan they ever had to take down a criminal that went completely as planned. Other than that, I loved the faked death con.

Ha, I'm pretty sure it's a Neil gait. And it was annoying. But overall a really good ending to a very fun show. I really enjoyed the cast on this one, there was really good chemistry. Good enough that I usually glossed over the usual silly plots. I hope we see more of them in the future in the form of a TV movie or something.

Hilarie Burton not showing up in Paris at the end was a wasted opportunity IMO - would have added a lot. I didn't think Moz was in on it the whole time, I thought maybe he found the storage area before Peter did though...

Just marathoned episodes 2-6 tonight. I only watched the premiere the night it aired and let the rest of the season build up. But, I found the time tonight to finish it out.
Fun mini season. I also fell for the con at the end. I actually thought that Neal was dead and believed it even more when the body bag was opened. I loved how Peter put everything together at the end including the paramedics who were in on it too.
I really liked the moment too when Neal said that Peter was his best friend and he was the only one who saw any good in him. Very moving and even the scene in the hospital where Peter was mourning.
They definitely left things open ended for a possible 2 hour movie for Neal and Peter to meet again. Seems like Jeff Eastin is open to it if FOX studios asks him to make it. But, I think it wouldn't happen for a few years at least. Everyone has moved on now. But, it was a good enough resolution for Neal to finally be free along with Peter and Elizabeth living happily ever after.
