It quickly won me over - in for the season, assuming it can maintain the quality. Yeah, big silly leaps of faith (and geography - the "National Archives" building was NYC's main library building), but decent writing and a winning cast.

He was Eliza Dushku's boyfriend, Luc. They killed him off at the end of the first season.

Finally got around to watching this and I too will likely be in for the season. Am just glad to see Tim DeKay (Carnivale) back on the small screen.

I liked it well enough. Light and mostly fun like most of the USA shows. I do think Burke warmed up to Caffrey a little too quickly though. One minute he's reluctantly getting him out of jail, and the next he's showing him a bunch of info about his wife to help figure out a present. Too hokey.
And I have zero interest in the probable season-long (if not series-long) arc of Caffrey chasing after his ex-girl.

I really liked the show, Dekay is the reason I watched as I love Carnivale and he did a damn good job. The main seems a bit too pretty and there was alot of suspending my belief.

I loved the movie Catch me if you can. This show is like what happens after the end credits role for that movie.

Really like it! I'll definitely be tuning in again next Friday. Bomer really just steals the scene every times he's on the screen. I'm just interested to see what sort of antics he's able to charm his way in to. I think he's going be a great character to watch on TV.

Why didn't anybody tell me Natalie Morales was in the cast!? I already liked the show -- she took it to 11.

So why did they put a protected witness, who as far as I can figure the killer didn't even know about, in the dress when they had a perfectly hot FBI agent on the team?
I also doubt the boni fides of this super criminal with the internet and tens of millions of laptops, cameras, dvds and ipods crossing the border every day yet his plan is to kidnap a fashion designer's son and blackmail him into smuggling the data in a dress. And then he takes the wrong dress.
I guess this is going to be one of those shows where you have to completely shut your brain off.

Yea never heard of Middleman. She doesnt look hispanic either but not too bad looking. Is she even joining the show or just a guest spot? I didnt see that other agent that was suppose to be Lesbian so I guess she could be replacing her.

I didn't see a thread for the 11/7 episode, but my criticism of that one is the same I have for this episode: I loved the pilot and while I still like the chemistry between the two main characters, I am finding these weekly storylines to be boring as hell. I am not interested in these cases at all!
The pilot was so fun and crisp, but it seems like they already have run out of idea on how to make the show interesting from week to week. It is like this was a really good idea for a movie but they have no idea where to go from the original set-up. A stolen bible? Really? Snooze.
And I checked out during the 10/30 ep and sort of lost track why they were even looking for the main bad guy.
The quality drop-off from the pilot reminds me of another USA show, Royal Pains. I enjoyed that pilot but found myself hating the show more with every episode. I think this one has better characters, but the writing needs to improve stat.

Ooh, another murder case on White Collar.
The pilot has a Thomas Crown Affair flair to it, the other eps were much more serious. Maybe the network spent money on the pilot and decided to go in another direction for the series? I doubt the tone of the pilot will be repeated again.
