Re: White Collar -- "Veiled Threat" -- 7/05/11
Looks like the original version is winning by a landslide.

Re: White Collar -- "Veiled Threat" -- 7/05/11
As a graphic designer, it must suck for the guy(s) that came up with the new intro. But kudos to USA and the folks over at White Collar for listening to the fans. Too bad Human Target didn't do the same. We might have seen a third season if they did.
I wonder if the DVDs will all have the same (original) intro or if it will be like it aired. |
Re: White Collar -- "Veiled Threat" -- 7/05/11
USA has always had a more "station of the people" tone than pretty much any other network.
Also very likely why they're one of the most successful cable networks out there. |
Re: White Collar -- "Veiled Threat" -- 7/05/11
I don't really care about the opening sequence as long as they are less than 5 seconds or some multiple of 30 so I can easily skip button them.

Re: White Collar -- "Scott Free" -- 7/12/11
 The show is on a roll so far this season. That was a great episode.
And finally they gave Hilarie Burton something to do. I really liked the whole planning and safe sequence. at Mozzie using a barbie doll as Sara. The episode had a very Ocean's 11/Leverage vibe to it. However, the thing that annoyed me was Neal's speech to Scott. I thought he was being a hypocrite considering he's planning this elaborate scheme with Mozzie to take the stolen Nazi treasure and run. Now that Sara discovered the fake passport, should be interesting to see how that affects their relationship. For me, White Collar has probably surpassed Burn Notice as USA's best and most consistent 1 hour drama. The writing on this show is top notch. |

Re: White Collar -- "Scott Free" -- 7/12/11
USA just announced the original opening sequence won the poll. They will be back next Tuesday with updated shots of the cast.

Re: White Collar -- "Scott Free" -- 7/12/11
Didn't USA go through the same thing with Monk? They changed the theme and after complaints had to change it back.

Re: White Collar -- "Scott Free" -- 7/12/11
Great episode. I was wondering when they were going to show us why they added Burton to the main cast. The past two episodes she had like two to four minutes of screentime.

Re: White Collar -- "Scott Free" -- 7/12/11
Man, Hilarie Burton is super-skinny. I hope she doesn't have an eating problem.
Oh, and another great episode. |

Re: White Collar -- "Scott Free" -- 7/12/11
There was also that bit in his speech to Scott about getting caught when you get comfortable and meet someone special, ala him and Sarah.
He's definitely not "all-in" like Mozz and he is getting cozy with his life. It's a recipe for getting caught. I would hate to see Mozz ride off in the sunset, or Neal turning on him, as he's a great character, but it seems to be where it's headed. |

FYI, White Collar's summer finale will be August 9th after episode 10.

Re: White Collar -- "Taking Account" -- 7/19/11
 I'm turning into a broken record, but that was another solid episode.
 Loved Neal and Sara's spending spree and the graphic showing how much they spent. at the reaction when Neal asked for 4 helicopters. Almost didn't recognize Lena Headey from Game of Thrones. If any of you are wondering all those tattoos on her are real. Go Mozzie for getting some action. Glad Sara finally discovered Neal's scheme with the treasure. I liked June's advice to her about being there for him. Looks like Sara will have to stop the scheme. And last, but not least: :thumbsup: to the return of the original opening sequence. I think Hilarie Burton is beautiful, but dang she is so thin. She must be a size 1 if that. And that's really impressive considering she just had a baby with Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Yes, she's dating him. I don't remember her being this thin back when she was on One Tree Hill. |
Re: White Collar -- "Taking Account" -- 7/19/11
Neil should've been more careful with his password, especially since Sara got it the same way he got her bank PIN.
The "port" where they caught the guy at the end was actually the Manhattan side of the Staten Island Ferry. Hardly the crossroads of the world since it's a slow boat that just goes back and forth. And despite what Peter said about not enough agents, the waiting room is no bigger than what was shown. Good camera work to make it seem more than it is though. |

"Network cables out now!" apparently means turn off your monitors...hahaha. I guess they needed something visual for the audience but I cringed there.

Re: White Collar -- "Taking Account" -- 7/19/11
My reaction to the spending spree was "You said enough after buying the 4 helicopters!"
As for Mozzie hooking up, I just kept going "Mozzie, she wants you. GO!" |
Re: White Collar -- "Taking Account" -- 7/19/11
Yeah, that was a nice surprise seeing Lena Headey in this. She's great in everything she does and it was fun seeing Mozzie get the hookup.
I was thinking the same thing about Hilarie Burton. She's pretty, but damn thin. |
