 I like Tiffani Thiessen, but I agree with you that she needs to hit the Gym. Diana and Jones are the only ones who are not really fleshed out. Diana was a guest star in season 1, then she disappeared and became a regular all of the sudden in season 2. All we really know about her is she's gay. |
Re: White Collar -- "Power Play" -- 3/01/11
Does Diana still have the music box, too?
Too bad they booted Natalie Morales' character to the curb, though. |
Re: White Collar -- "Power Play" -- 3/01/11
Wow, this one was a total blast. The clichéd plot device of Neal & Burke switching roles was completely forgivable given Dekay and Bomer's chemistry. I loved Burke picking Neal's pocket at the end.

Finally watched this yesterday and yeah, fun episode all-around. Peter and Neal were having fun with the switch and so did we.

Re: White Collar -- Season Finale -- "Under the Radar" -- 3/08/11
Not bad, now the stakes are raised for both Neal and Peter, with the distrust between them at a higher alert level.

Re: White Collar -- Season Finale -- "Under the Radar" -- 3/08/11
Interesting twist at the end I guess. I would like it if Neal actually did, but I really doubt they'd go there. If Mauzy did it that'd be cool too.

Re: White Collar -- Season Finale -- "Under the Radar" -- 3/08/11
I liked the episode, but wasn't it about a year ago the season finale painted them as possibly now having to distrust each other, only then to have them kind of make up and things go back to normal within 1 episode the following season? I'm still digging the show a lot, I'm just not thinking their relationship will be changed all that much. It'll still be the buddy/buddy relationship as usual. After all, that's what the show is built on. I don't think it'll retain it's charm if they became adversaries on any level.
it had me thinking - which chick would I choose (if I had the choice) - Alex or Sara? Damn they both look nice. |

Re: White Collar -- Season Finale -- "Under the Radar" -- 3/08/11
I liked this episode, but considering how much build up led to Neal's confrontation with Adler, it felt a little anti-climatic.
I think it was Alex who stole the art work to tempt Neal back into his old ways. Looking forward to seeing how they incorporate Sara into the show next season. |
Re: White Collar -- Season Finale -- "Under the Radar" -- 3/08/11
The Adler confrontation was both anti-climatic and over the top. Both the writers and Andrew McCarthy were in full Bond villain mode.

Re: White Collar -- Season Finale -- "Under the Radar" -- 3/08/11
I don't know if I like the Sara angle (that complete halt in the middle of the episode to advance that story was the worst part of the episode). The 'romance' in this show should be between Peter and Neal. Their banter is what makes the show and I like Neal being asexual.
I think the Adler over-the-top-ness is all on McCarthy. He was never a great actor especially in dramatic scenes so I think it falls all on him as to why that confrontation was bad. The CGI fire/explosion really didn't help matters though. Still love the show but this episode wasn't the absolute best. And, yes, I believe Peter and Neal will be made up by the end of the first episode next season or at least on terms where they can work together. |

Capture the hero - check. Explain master plan to hero - double check. Offer the hero a chance to join you - check? Classic deathtrap - big check. |

I can't let the writers off the hook. They had Adler doing all the Bond villian cliches.

Yeah, I don't know about that. She was clearly on the plane and it blew up in front of everyone's eyes. If she's behind everything, it will be a jump the shark moment.

Very excited for the return of this awesome show. I love everything about it - except that horrendous finale last season (and those green screen shots with Tiffani).

:p No, really. It's about time. He was an integral part of the show and was even in the show more than Tiffani last season. |
Re: White Collar -- Season Premiere -- "On Guard" -- 6/07/11
For a while there, I thought he was gonna be the Heather Locklear of this show and forever listed as a guest star.
And great news about Hilarie Burton. Her and Matt Bomer have great chemistry together. Is it wrong that this is the first time I found out what NAACP means? |

Agree with everyone! Love Atkins and Burton, and I'm enjoying this more than Burn Notice lately.
Although to be fair, this season of BN looks like it might shake things up a bit, based on last season's finale. |
