The promo poster needs more Wendy.

Actually the cast shot seems woefully lacking in general.

Agreed, the serial killer sub-plot should add some adrenaline to the show this year.

Two great cases. I love that one is setting up for a decent arc this season. The other was a nice callback to seasons past but they telegraphed neighborhood watchdog in the first 10 minutes. It was almost comical when the CSIs came to the realization that they had his bloody shirt to examine.

Not that I care but they bring Jorja Fox back and don't give her shit to do. What a waste. It was kinda weird not seeing any of the lab rats at all. Speaking of, where's Mandy? I'm pretty sure we've seen the rest of them (Archie, Hodges, Wendy & Henry).

It seems like he's only there so it doesn't appear that there are only a few cast members left.

I concur, 2 really good cases. Nice to see some storylines from previous years come into play, and having another serial killer storyline is always a nice story arc.

I think he is going to find out that it is not his real dad. I do like the serial killer angle.

Agreed. The miniature killer season was one of the best ones of late. I think with all the cast changes they really need to have that type of season-long storyline again.

I love how they addressed that in the premier about how the team was 'fractured' and not really a team anymore, which led to Nick's promotion.

Almost positive it was...

Deadmau5 - Ghosts 'n Stuff

If it wasn't ghosts, it was definitely a Deadmau5 song (pronounced Dead Mouse). I am assuming it is that song, especially wit hthe title of the episode.

I thought they did a good job of using Riley's putdowns of Catherine as a metaphor of how many saw S9--fractured and with so many changes that no one knew what they were supposed to be doing. So they fine-tuned everyone's position and are getting thing back on track. Seems like it's working--the serial killer arc is shaping up to be good.
