Re: Survivor: Samoa - 9/24/09

From the Associated Press....

"Survivor" is safe in Samoa.
A spokeswoman for the CBS reality show says no crew members were
harmed by the powerful earthquake that struck the South Pacific
between Samoa and American Samoa around dawn Tuesday, sending large
tsunami waves ashore.
The earthquake, with a magnitude between 8.0 and 8.3, had no
effect on the production of the 20th season, which the spokeswoman
said was not being filmed at the time.
The 19th season was also filmed in Samoa.

Too bad....that could have made for an interesting episode

I wonder if they are going to do that every week...send one member of the winning tribe to the losing side for their tribal council. Maybe this is replacing exile island? If so, that's an interesting twist. Now the other tribe has an opportunity to affect who gets voted out on the opposing side. For example, they can attempt to get in their heads and have them vote out a good competitor.
They did the exact same thing on Survivor China. There was no "exile island". They sent a member of the opposing tribe into the other tribe with a clue, which they could elect to share with someone else. Todd figured out where they were first, i think, then James ended up with both of them (yet still didn't play either and got voted out).

Yeah, it was the classic "kick a person's leg behind the other as they are running so they trip over their own feet" move.
