That means there's nine hours available for other programming that would have gone to Day One. Here's hoping they fill it with more Leno.

I guess they want to have their Jericho. Run it as a miniseries so that there's no fan outrage when it ends.

I guess NBC is scared about blowing big $$$$ on another serialized drama. It makes sense to me that they want to test it out as a mini-series 1st.

I don't know if any of you remember, but the creator of Day One, Jesse Alexander, was one of the 2 Producers fired from Heroes last season.

Catherine Dent was on The Shield for 7 seasons

And Carly Pope had a small guest starring role on 24 last season.

Other than them, I don't know any of the other principal cast members.
