"Those documents were falsified....Toby Flenderson is doing drugs!"

I had to pause the DVR for that one

While I thought it was a funny episode overall, they are really making me dislike Michael. His antics used to be funny but now they seem more mean spirited.

At least they finally gave Jim a set and had him call Michael on his BS.

I hope the final episode of this series is just one full hour of Jim and Toby mercilessly beating Michael within an inch of his life.

Well there was a lot of truth in the performance evaluation of Jim. I'm just sayin'....

That opening scene was one of the funniest I've seen. Perfect cut to intro. music.

Kelly to Pam: "I am SOOO jealous of your boobs."

I mean, I understand why Michael was concerned. He thought he was going to be replaced by Jim and be out a job. I love how Jim recognized that "Michael can do just as much damage in the dark." Still though, I don't understand why David and Jim didn't just include Michael in the meeting.

Really good episode though. The Dwight and Toby stuff was great. Dwight's reaction at the end had me on the floor. I love how Pam's plan has backfired and everyone is going to come to the wedding; but of course, a four-day weekend from Michael is incentive.

Because Jim thought Michael would have messed something up. Which was the point of Jim realizing he could do just as much damage in the dark.

I liked it.

I'm one of the "Micheal's gotten too unrealistically retarded" raggers but this episode found just the right balance of Micheal being callous and stupid but with a definite reasoning, a huge smack of pathos, behind it. It's when The Office (both UK and US) works best, straddling that line of comedy and emotion, not just blundering eccentricity for a giggle, having character subtext in there along with the wit.

I don't know what some of you were watching, but that was hysterical from start to finish. Toby yelling asshole and then them crashing the car had me rolling.

No way, it's clearly going to be the release of the documentary to the Cannes film festival.

One of the funnier lines of the entire series for me.

"Hey Asshole, are you going to eat all that dogfood yourself?!"

Yeah, this show is no good any more. You should stop watching it.

I like the co-manager idea. Hopefully this is a return to the Jim - Dwight fighting that made season 2 so fantastic.

Re: The Office -- "The Meeting" -- 9/24/09

The punchline to the Toby/Dwight/Daryl fiasco, was the best. "Both decided to file formal written complaints against each other, and now I get stuck with the paperwork."

And the logical solution to Jim worrying about Michael interfering would to have the meeting outside of work or away from work.

But at the heart of his actions at least this week was his desire to keep his "friends" with him. He doesn't want Jim to leave, he doesn't want to get promoted and leave the office.

He truly thinks Jim is his best friend and doesn't want to lose him.

True, but what made it even funnier was thinking about it in terms of Toby's interest in Pam.

That was actually Toby's evaluation of Jim from the episode where Boss Ryan returned and gave Jim a formal warning because Jim criticized the website behind Ryan's back.

And the fact that Michael actually complimented Toby when discussing the evaluation.
