I thought the question asked for a musician or band that appeared on South Park, meaning the actual musician or band had to contribute to the episode. I thought about Bono and a few others, but felt they were wrong because somebody else did their voice.

The press release wouldn't say all three because people are smart enough to figure out that if Matt and Trey made one, they probably made all of them. It doesn't mean that all three are the same project.
