I'm pretty sure he was talking to Kevin, but I will definitely admit I could be wrong.

I can't say that I would want any of the finalists touching my food. The talent level is very low this season for some reason.

i like the way Ramsay did Tenille's exit, not asking for nominations because it was obvious she was the one going

It's the correct final 3

wow mugwump, I'm not sure about that. I'd almost consider this one of the strongest final 3's in the series.

Yeah this seasons seems to have the best most solid chefs they've ever had on the show.

I have no idea what you all are talking about concerning Ariel. The only person who served more raw food than her this season was Sabrina. She came up with that pork ravioli dish and served it raw three times in one night. Tennille was a better chef than her. Ramsay had to get rid of the obvious one messed up last night. I think that Dave and Kevin should be the final two, but Tennille should've been #3.

Kevin's attitude still stinks.

I'm just glad that I don't need to listen to Tennille shouting at me anymore.

Yeah, Kevin has ratcheted up his arrogance in recent weeks after flying under the radar for so long, so I'm rooting against him. Ariel is OK, but I hope Dave takes it, alone for the fortitude he has shown.

Here here.

I want to see Dave win this. Kevin is an arrogant prick, but he does seem to possess many of the qualities Ramsay would look for. Still, Dave has been kicking ass with one hand. Imagine how the guy does with both working at 100%.

Don't mind the souped up drama, but the Dave "I think maybe you should go home with the wrist/no I'll keep you/no I'll call you back down later that night/nevermind I'll let you continue but I'll keep my eye on you" drama was really weak (even for this show).

We are supposed to believe that Ramsey is truly concerned about his health, when he had an obese guy with a heart condition peddling a bike up a hill as punishment? OK....

They must've needed filler for the show because that was pretty stupid.

You are so right. You could just hear the passion in Dave's voice when he fought Ramsay to keep his place on the show  It seemed very scripted and forced.

LOL I just got a kick out of it every time. "I LOVE SUSHI!" "DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG I'VE BEEN WANTING SUSHI!?" cracks me up. I'll miss her.

Kevin's an arrogant prick but he'll prob. win. I am routing for Dave. He seemed less stoned last night or something.

Re: Hell's Kitchen -- Season 6 Thread -- Premieres 7/21/09

Dave's big problem is going to be next week when they have the three of them run the pass. He's proven himself to be an outstanding, dedicated, and talented cook, but he's shown no leadership and choked when he had to speak to the food critics (he did OK talking to the kids, though, so I guess there's hope for him). But I do hope he wins.

I hope Dave wins, his ability to keep working with that hand, being in pain is impressive, many people would quit.

2 hour season finale tonight:

Spoiler:

Chef Gordon Ramsay picks a winner in the Season 6 finale following the final dinner challenge, but first there's another dinner challenge to pare the field to two. And before that, the three remaining chefs must prepare dishes from around the world that are judged by an international panel of culinary experts. The challenge winner's family gets to sample those recipes, prepared by executive chefs.

Didn't know this was tonight.

When does the next season start?

I didn't know tonight was the final episode.

Spoiler:
Glad Dave won. Kevin seem a bit stuck up

A somewhat predictable finish, but satisfying that they didn't try to spice it up by having an obvious interloper in the final. Also glad they got rid of the "design your restaurant" element. Always thought that was a big waste of time and full of phonied up drama: "Do these napkins work with these plates? Oh no! Somebody broke the arm off the ice sculpture!"

I thought it was interesting that Tennille wasn't among those brought back.

Agreed.

I stopped watching HK a couple seasons ago but I watched last week then tonight and pretty much came to the same conclusion about that person in only 3 eps.

Would have liked to see Kevin get called out for what seemed like sabotage when Ariel was at the pass (it would've been great if she pulled a Ramsey and said shape up or threatened to boot him out of the kitchen!)

Don't any contestant watch past seasons - are they really surprised when they do the reveal of the past contestants?

Spoiler:
I'm glad Dave won, but was surprised a bit.
