Penn & Teller Bull**** Season 7 premiering on 6/25

Showtime, Thursdays, 9:00pm CDT.

They're baaack! Get ready for the 7th season. I don't know how many total episodes are scheduled but here is the lineup for the first six episodes:

6/25: Orgasms

In the seventh season premiere, the myth-busting magicians meet with the inventor of a remote-control orgasm machine, take a lesson from a sex coach, and observe a demonstration of how to unleash one's "inner erotic rock star."

7/2: Astrology

Millions of people believe their destinies are determined by the positions of the sun, moon, and planets, so Penn and Teller follow two astrologers as they dole out advice - for a price.

7/9: Video Games

The duo debunks the theory of politicians and other alarmists that playing video games leads to teen violence by handing over a real semiautomatic weapon to a nine-year-old video game player to see if he becomes a human killing machine.

7/16: The Apocalypse

Penn and Teller follow investigators to Mexico where they probe the mysterious, doomsday "Mayan Prophecy" that the world will end on exactly December 21, 2012.

7/23: Lie Detectors

Polygraphs are used in thousands of investigations and job screenings, but can a machine really detect whether someone is lying? Penn and Teller meet people whose lives were ruined by faulty lie-detector results.

7/30: Organic Foods

Penn and Teller examine the organic food industry to determine if it is, as many claim, more nutritious, and better for the environment.

Episode 1 is, of course, the obligatory sex-oriented show to get in a lot of boobs. Episode 2 is one of those shooting fish in a barrel episodes that could be funny but not too enlightening. After that, I think the next four all look very interesting.

The apocalypse one should be good. Would be nice to see them eviscerate the "history" channel for airing this horseshit all the time.

Maybe they can do an episode on driving a truck over ice or how everything will fall apart when we're all dead too.

I can hardly watch the History Channel for all the crap they air, most notably every nutjob conspiracy theory about the Kennedy assassination. I like to call it the Mythtery Channel.

The video games one looks like another "shooting fish in a barrel" show.

That's not what the word myth means.

In my post I said I didn't know if that was the whole season. It probably isn't. That's all the episodes I found at TV.com.

Wow. I cancelled Showtime a while back, but I would be interested in seeing them tackle a couple of those topics. Will have to put the season in my Netflix queue, I guess.
