Mission Impossible(original)-Too many re-appearing guest stars. If they were in love with William Windom-make him a semi-regular. Plus not enough episodes with Lesley Ann Warren wearing a mini-skirt.

The Avengers (original) -- No Emma Peel in leather in any of the color episodes.

LOST- Random filler in the first 2(maybe 3) seasons. Example: Jack's tattoo flashback, most of Kate's flashbacks after season 1, Sawyer and Kate in bear cages.

Just want you to know I'm here for in a few years when LOST is over, and you are left wondering why you chose a user name from a TV show character .

Ditto, but I think mine rules.

Newsradio: It probably didn't do enough to cater to the casual fan not following it from night to night on the schedule. It also didn't use the Catherine character nearly enough, which is what led to KA leaving.

I never liked her character so I was fine with it. Of course that could be because she was never really developed enough.

Along the same lines, Spin City shedding characters left and right towards the end until it was pretty much the Michael J. Fox & Heather Locklear show (and then the Sheen/Locklear show). It was the ensemble cast that made the show work so well and they ruined it towards the end.

I'm still mad at the ending even today. What a cop out by David Chase.

The A-Team - in all the automatic weapon fights, nobody ever got shot.

Arrested Development - It ended. Oh and I never cared about the characters all that much, but that's sort of the "unlikeable" angle that made it so likable.

30 Rock - Insubstantial plots in most episodes, stuff doesn't "come together" very often. And yet the chaos is an asset.

Lost - Inconsistent directing and writing. While it's generally an excellent show, some of the episodes are just exceptionally poor in terms of execution. (Filler done okay: Little Hurley Sunshine episode. Filler done wrong: Jack's Tattoos. Substantial done poorly: Season 5 finale.)

Re: What was one of the flaws of one of your favorite tv shows?

Hunter (not the old 80's version, but the late 90's revival): Transferring him from the LAPD to the San Diego PD

Friday Night Lights: The murder plot from season 2

Grey's Anatomy: Bringing back Denny Duquette from the dead multiple times.

CSI: Miami: Bringing back Tim Speedle from the dead

CSI: Hooking up Gil and Sara, Killing off Chandra West in the Pilot, which unfortunately gave us Jorja Fox. Making Louise Lombard's character speak with an American accent.

Ugly Betty: the whole Henry-Gio-Betty love triangle

NYPD Blue: Dumping Esai Morales and bringing in Currie Graham as the new Captain.

Martial Law: Firing Tom Wright as the Captain and bringing in Gretchen Egolf. Firing Louis Mandylor and hiring Arsenio Hall.

The OC: Pointlessly killing off Marisa after season 3 even though her character was already leaving the show to be with her father.

Cold Case: Anytime they attempted to give Lily a personal life, it was a disaster.

Without a Trace: Pointlessly hooking up Samantha and Martin. Also, bringing in Mary Elizabeth Mastantonio to be Jack's GF only to get rid of her after she had a miscarriage. Bringing in Steven Weber as the Boss to start the season.

Alias: Never truly solving the mystery of Rambaldi. In other words, it had one of the most disappointing conclusions in television history.

24: some episodes are structured as 90% talky and 10% action, with the last 10 minutes having the action.

I don't mind that it's a talky episode, but saving the action for the end pisses me off. It's like the writers just crammed it in there so the episode won't suck. Mix it up!

The X-Files - Losing Duchovny for the last two seasons.

Millennium - Disregarding the "viral apocalypse" ending of season 2 and calling it a "minor outbreak" in Season 3.

Deadwood -
Spoiler:
Al Swearengen being incapacitated for most of season 2

And how! My wife and I have never looked so forward to the new season of a show after a cliffhanger, only to be so let down.

Babylon 5: Some wooden acting (especially in earlier episodes) and special effects that don't hold up very well

Like taking Erin Grey out of the spandex catsuits in season two of Buck Rogers.

Criminal Minds: I hated the way Lola Glaudini's character Elle Greenaway was written out. Rather than writing her out in a dignified way like resigning or getting killed in the line of duty, she starts experiencing psychological problems that stemmed from her attack at the end of season 1 and basically became obsessed and extremely neurotic.

Also hated the way Mandy Patinkin's Jason Gideon was written out, but he put the writers and producers in a bind when he just chose to not show up and then quit which put the show behind schedule.

Sports Night - Casey and Dana's on-again, off-again bit felt like a cheap attempt to attract more female viewers to an otherwise intelligent show free of those kinds of cliches

Smallville. The overuse of kryptonite{and that's an understatement}, not to mention the inconsistent use of it. Also the season 8 finale{most of it}.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Buffy was a spoiled preppy brat, and I never really bought that her character could actually be as clever, strong, and heroic as she was protrayed.
