Kate being bitchy is over-hyped, she's not that bad. I've seen worse, and she seems to truly do the best for her kids. The comparisons to Octa-Mom are unfair, IMO. She's wasn't trying to have 6 kids at a time, unlike the other freak.

The show's more about the kids anyway, who are adorable. If you don't think those kids are cute, you're dead inside.

I had never heard of these Non Celebs until they started supposedly having Marital problems and you see their faces everywhere. Why is this news?
These are issues they should have worked out before they had so many damn kids.

This is the same woman who once bitched at her husband for breathing. She is downright insufferable & has been since episode one, but we all would be if our stylists eventually did that to our hair, I suppose.

I can't stand the fucking chick. She likes to put on the act that she's taking care of all of these children all by her lonesome, consistently minimizes the father at every opportunity, and fails to let the viewers know that not only does she have a nanny helping her out, she has a personal assistant, a private chef, a housekeeper, and a fucking gardener. And a bodyguard she's supposedly porking. They are paid between $60,000-75,000 per episode, all of their trips & assorted other bullshit are comped, and everything down to their grocery trips are included in the production budget.

It's not a reality show about a family, it's a "reality show" about a famous reality show family. With an egomaniac wearing the pants in the household.

I for one am starting to think the 'affair/divorce/etc.' angle is fabricated for ratings. I even like the show, and think both Jon and Kate have major faults. Kate's an anal bitch, but Jon should have never, ever let it get as bad as it had. If it's lashing out now b/c of how Kate treats him, then he brought it upon himself.

Hasn't Octo-Mom always maintained the same thing? Yet the media is jumping all over her and her fertility doctor.

Man talk about uncomfortable, watching tonight's episode was awkward. I think Jon just wants to stop what they're doing and live like normal people. They should really stop the show, for the sake of their relationship and their family.

Wow, that hurt to watch.

Putting aside Kate's personality defects, she's obviously in this for the money now. She probably thinks that she doesn't need John anymore.

John's ready to move on, but he stays on because he gets stuff like that sports car. What a wimp.

Both parents need to stop the show. I really feel sorry for the children. Maddie's simply being groomed to show up in Hustler at this rate.

I agree. Kate's fallen in love with her celebrity. She is going to jettison Jon. It obvious it's never been about their kids. It always been about gaining fame and money for herself.

The problem is she probably will get her own show.

Man, I just don't see it that way. From tonight's show, it looks like Jon is pretty much done with it and is looking forward to a divorce. Kate at least seems to want to try to resolve things. Jon was already talking about how the kids would be alright after they split.

Could be a huge setup, but we'll see.

Quite a sad and awkward show tonight. Feel bad for those kids...

I wanted to see this tonight because the promos all over made the hypocrisy too rich.

If there's any doubt that Kate's in it for the cash, go check out the part where one kid says he wants a hambunburgler and she looks in the camera, with that "aw, see America, my kids are soo cute!" They both owe it to their kids to get out or if they're in it, to save up for the expense of many visits to a therapist.

I agree, Jon just seems like he has checked out completely and Kate is at least trying to keep things normal (as normal as they can be for that family). He had already checked out previously but now he's really taking a backseat to raising the kids. To me he's just being selfish and probably wants to be a bachelor again. He seemed to be better when he had a regular job, but when he quit that he realized being a full time dad wasn't for him.

As incredibly nutty as Kate is, I think she's handling the fame and the problems that come with that well. I don't see her as only doing the show for the money; I'm sure that's a terrific side effect but nothing about her behavior tells me she's only doing it for the money.

I haven't watched tonight's episode yet, saw a minute or two before work, but I get the impression she's panicking because she treated him like crap for so long and now he's finally ready to move on.
