I used to adore this show - A couple with 8 kids, struggling to make ends meet, and seeing how they manage with such a large family.

Now with all the freebies, tabloids, accusations, etc. - the illusion is gone. Multi-million dollar house, endorsement deals, etc.


The reality show has jumped the shark. Anybody watching the season premiere this Monday?

I think she is one of the most vile people I have ever seen and have no sympathy for her what so ever.

Yeah, she definitely wears the pants in this family that's for sure.
Of course, I don't have 8 kids and I certainly didn't give birth to 6 at
a time so I have no idea what it takes to make it all run smoothly.

I watch it and I'll watch it on Monday. For as bitchy as Kate is she still gives me the hot a little bit and I just feel sooo sorry watching Jon.

But I admit - I'm a dude, and I still watch this show. Why? Cuz I got 2 kids and it's hard enuff as it is - I like to see how they do it.

Why would you be worried about this show? That said it is not the show that was originally conceived but that will happen no matter what. The only joy I get from this show is on The Soup.

Well, I've got 4 month old triplets, and the last thing I want to see is a show about screaming kids.

It provides interesting new variations on the formula. Soon, we'll see "Jon & Kate Plus 8 and a Divorce Lawyer."

Yeah, it's not really interesting now that they're all rich and don't have to worry about anything.

The only thing I worry about is that the batteries may fall out of the remote while channel surfing past this and I'll be stuck watching it because I'm too lazy to reach under the couch to retrieve the batteries.

I have watched one episode of this stupid show, and that was just because I was at someone else's house at the time and they watch it. Just from watching that one episode, I couldn't stand Kate and how she treated Jon, but he puts up with it, so I guess it's his own fault.

The litrtle clips that are shown on The Soup provide me with more than enough footage of this show. Man, do I ever feel bad for that husband. His wife is Queen Bitch and he knows it. I don't know how he keeps from buying a pump-action shotgun and instantly making himself single again.

i think this whole "affair" thing is just a way to drum up some free advertising for the new season of their show.

Everything will be fine ... although I have heard rumors that Jon is being re-cast mid-season by either BD Wong or the guy from Harold & Kumar.
