I really enjoyed it, looking forward to watching this bunch of misfit underdogs fight the good fight.

Big fan of "Election" so I absolutely loved this pilot episode.

Just like Supernatural, it's going to be a long as wait till Sept.

It great to see Lauren from SYTYCD during the "Rehab" performance.

If they keep up the performances like the end, that alone would get me to tune in.

Really enjoyed the show. A bit over the top at times, but I'll be tuning in for the fall. Like others, I'm rooting for the germophobe teacher.

He's not as good as Lea Michele, but that's usually how it goes: it's easier to find a strong female lead than a strong male lead, partly because few males will actually do this kind of thing.

Loved it, though was wondering how they got some of those vocal textures with only three people singing backup.

The jock singer reminded me of Chris Klein, but with a better hairline.

I just had seen her the night before when I rented Paul Blart Mall Cop. Of course, when I was watching Mall Cop, I thought she was Anna Faris, and only during the credits did I realize that it wasn't her. I think they've both done Wayan-type spoof movies, so I'm not sure who is who.

I liked it a lot and will be tuning in this fall. As someone who was a "choir geek" from junior high up through college, I can relate to a lot of it.

I love anything that gives attention to choir like this. When programs are getting eliminated across the country in favor of "moneymakers" like sports, it's refreshing to see this (and High School Musical helped there too) so I will support the hell out of it.

must admit I was in Glee Club in Jr. High.

The show was alright. Male lead is promising too. But it was the Journey cover that made this episode special. Don't know how they can continue to top that. By fall, most everyone may have forgotten the show too.

Oh, and if you like Glee, you should check out the movie, "Camp", in which kids go to a summer camp where they sing and perform. The singing is very good too.

FYI, Kristin Chenoweth will guest in an ep (maybe more) this fall. LA Times has a video clip:

Also, a bunch of deleted scenes from pilot:

Re: Glee -- Series Premiere -- "Pilot" -- 5/19/09

I've been seeing more and more different promos for Glee, primarily during "So You Think You Can Dance".

Anyway, I saw this video on YouTube and it reminded me of Glee. The start of the song is incredible, an (almost) a capella rainstorm. Very well done (it has nothing to do with the show Glee other than this is a real life Glee club, or chorus). They are doing a cover of Toto's '80s song "Africa".

The singing in that clip is good but the rain sound effects are great.

I'm amazed at how much ad time Fox is giving this, when it isn't scheduled to really premiere until September or somewhere around there. I guess they figure that the target audience are the ones watching Idol and SYTYCD, which makes sense, but man that's three months away still.

I finally got around to watching this on Hulu. Both the misses and I thought it was hilarious. And I thought the commercials for it made it look terrible.

The humor is just always on the mark, I love it. The music selection and performances were great. I'll be tuning in for the fall.

I just got around to watching this as well. It was... okay. Some of it is promising, but the writing is obvious, the characters are mostly uninteresting, and the tone is all over the place.

Just a note that during last night's "Hell's Kitchen", they advertised that tonight's "Glee" is a director's cut of the pilot with additional footage.

Cool! Thanks for the heads-up. I'll watch it again. I can't believe how much I've been looking forward to this show this year.

I watched part of it and just couldn't handle it. It was horrible.
