One Tree Hill -- "Forever and Always" -- 5/11/09

Synopsis:
Spoiler:
It looks like there is no sign of Karen or Andy in this episode. However:
Spoiler:
Anways, I know some of you who are still watching aren't fans of Lucas and Peyton, but personally I'm glad the 2 characters are finally finding happiness. And yes I am a fan of them as a couple, although Haley and Nathan are still my favorites.

So does this mean Chad Michael Murray and Hilary Burton are still leaving at the end of this season?

It looks like One Tree Hill newlyweds Peyton and Lucas are about to embark on a permanent honeymoon.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton, whose characters tied the knot in last night's penultimate episode, will not be returning for the show's seventh season next fall. The CW is expected to formally announce their departures next Thursday at its upfront presentation.
Murray and Burton have been engaged in rather high-profile contract negotiations for the past several months. Ultimately, a deal couldn't be worked out and both actors will make their final appearances in next Monday's season finale.
To fill the void next season, a Hill insider tells me that two new characters will be introduced. Additionally, Austin Nichols (Julian) is being promoted to a series regular.

I don't like him at all. He has a very slight speech impediment that I bet he has worked on removing. I don't know how to explain it other that to say he moves his mouth too much for being soft spoken. It's like he has a stammer that he is working hard to overcome. He definitely is not the superb actor that CMM is ... oh wait never mind.

That's fine. I assume this means that Season 7 will probably be the last one then. As long as Bethany Joy Galeotti comes back (which she already is) then I'm cool with 1 more season. I assume Schwahn, WB and The CW will now do whatever it takes to get Sophia Bush signed on.

Wonder what happens to Sam? I like her...but really hope they don't nix her for 2 new characters.

I just want to say that the people who post on Ausiello's blog on EW.com where this news about Chad and Hilarie originated from are probably the most whinney, bitchy and irrational people I have ever read stuff from.

I wouldn't say I don't like him, but every time he's on screen, I say to myself "I don't know Butchie, instead."

Not sure how I feel about the news. I always thought this was CMM's show, so I wonder what they'll do next year. Regardless, I'll probably watch.

The people replacing Lucas and Peyton are...
Quinn (Haley's sister from S2)
Alexis (works for Brooke)
Clayton (Nathans B-Ball coach)
So...how long until Clayton becomes involved with Quinn?

^ more on that... (not really spoilers, but what the hell)
I love how they have to put "gorgeous" next to Alexis's name as if we'd expect anything else from OTH..

And yeah, Lucus and Peyton did nothing this season. Nothing.
