Synopsis: Spoiler:
This is episode 27. Next week will be the season finale. As for this episode. Coffee and Dancing in the Office? Of all the weird shit that Michael has done, this is one of the weirdest. |
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
Yea, this one sounds weird.
|
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
Sort of an odd premise for a penultimate episode.
Maybe Holly will show up at some point... |
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
Dwight treating Phyllis like a horse was good
"Woah, Woah" |
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
That episode was just really... fun. |
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
Better than I expected. They seemed to have packed alot into this one.
|
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
Is next weeks episode going to be any longer? Or is it going to be a normal size episode?

I liked it. Quirky and displayed both the good sides and bad sides of Michael.
Who was Kevin making out with in the corner? Couldn't tell from the DVR. Also the girl who got invited to the party by the secretary... reminded me of Kirsten Dunst. |
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
I think Kevin was making out with the girl the new secretary brought along... or was it the girl from earlier in the season?
It was a very quick shot. |

I think it was the redhead he said "Boobs" to a couple episodes back.

Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
The new receptionist gets cuter and cuter with each episode. She's so innocent and naive. Just makes you want to corrupt her. :D

He was making out with the girl he likes that he met earlier this season. There was one episode where Andy was giving him really bad advice about how to ask her out.

Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
Kelly was working it.
|
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
Kelly's got a major fat ass
|
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
i like that picture in the OP... not enough shots of the entire cast out there

Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
I missed the beginning of the scene where Phyllis goes to visit Bob Vance. Seemed like they were strongly implying that Vance was cheating on her with the Vance Refrigeration receptionist. Was that the case?
|
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
Nevermind. My question was kind of confirmed by Phyllis' statement to Dwight later in the episode.
|
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
Loved this ep, my fave of the season
|
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
Now THAT brought back the funny that had been missing. Totally enjoyed it.
|
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
The premise sounded bad, but that episode was a lot of fun. Glad to see the show do an episode where everyone just got along and had a good time.
I liked how Angela just walked right under the limbo pole. And way to go Kevin. |
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
Didn't care much for this one. A little too weird for my tastes. Still had some moments but the Phyllis thing was REALLY stupid (feeding her carrots like a horse? Really??) and the disco wasn't funny enough to counteract that. I liked Pam and Jim's stuff but the rest of it was pretty poor.
Weakest episode of the season, by far. Which is a shame because they were on a real roll. |
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
The show picked up 1/2 way through.. I was worried that this was going to be one of those Michael buffoon episodes, but when everyone started to dance - the episode became "fun"
I loved the Kelly / Andy dance off. |
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
Wasn't the best episode, but it was just an enjoyable filler. You just have to remember that this is a sitcom, and a silly one at that.
|
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
I liked how Michael smiled seeing Angela's leg moving back and forth. That's the type of thing that makes this show.

Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
Creed using a disco ball as a rear view mirror... :)

"I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure I'm in a dance-off."

"Now I'll have no idea who's behind me." The delivery of that line had me  |
Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
That new receptionist is pretty cute. She seems familiar though, but maybe it's because she sort of looks like the actress who played the blind girl Kenneth liked in that episode of 30 Rock a while back, except she is a brunette and not a red head. Yes, I'm too lazy to check all of this on imdb right now.

Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
Last week's My Name Is Earl flat-out explained why they made a filler episode. It was a nice capper to explain the waste of time.
This episode of The Office was terrible. Absolutely nothing happened. |

Re: The Office -- "Cafe Disco" -- 5/7/09
After last week's enjoyable episode, I thought this one was a real disappointment. Additionally, Jim & Pam are really starting to get on my nerves. Well, Pam has been for awhile. Looks like they may be building up to a big wedding episode.

"...also, this song is fantastic." *starts dancing* I wouldn't have any problem at all if Dwight and Erin started playing more pranks on Jim and Pam. |
