I heard that Dick Wolfe wanted to bring Cabot back every once in awhile in a guest role, so I'm wondering if she really dies or not...

Law and Order CI 5/9

I think the old guy is a recurring bad guy. has that happened before?

MrX 05-10-04 01:25 PM

I haven't seen every episode but I don't remember him.

The only criminal that I can remember that's made more then one apperance was Olivia D'Abo's character that showed up twice last season.

Law and Order CI 10/31

did I understand that correctly?
Spoiler:
she has a baby skeleton still inside her?

movie diva 11-01-04 08:35 AM

yep

mikehunt 11-01-04 04:25 PM

that's fucked up

Law and Order CI 11/14

one of the actresses from Rescue Me was on
I finally decided for sure that if I was a cop on this show the male detective would be getting another blanket party, ala Full Metal Jacket. His character totally came off as a condenscending prick at the begining when the other detective had the case when the body was found in the park
And I'm bit confused how a thermal image would show something buried that would be at the same temp as the surrounding dirt as it had been buried for a while

Law & Order: CI casting rumor

from tvguide.com

BIG CHANGES: Rumors are flying that Law & Order star Chris Noth is poised to replace troubled Vincent D'Onofrio on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. According to a report in Broadcasting & Cable magazine, L&O creator Dick Wolf is considering Noth as a possible successor to D'Onofrio, who, in addition to his recent health problems, has long had a reputation for being a handful to work with. And kinda scary to boot.

dick_grayson 11-30-04 01:23 PM

Oh man! I liked Noth back in the day, but I still prefer D'Onofrio. I realize a lot of people don't like him, but I feel he makes the show.

movieking 11-30-04 01:28 PM

I would actually watch the show if they got rid of D'Onofrio. I would love to see Noth back. I hope that this happens! Bring it on!

WillieTheShakes 11-30-04 01:36 PM

D'Onofrio is CI. With him, CI is appointment tv for me.
Without him (and especially with Noth) it would be just another L&O series, and well down the list...

LorenzoL 11-30-04 01:38 PM

Very interesting. I'll be the first one to say that although I like Chris Noth, he won't bring the same depth as D'Onofrio has brought so far on the show

I can't stand D'Onofrio. He is the sole reason that I do not watch this show anymore.

Geofferson 11-30-04 01:54 PM

 if Noth returns

riley_dude 11-30-04 01:57 PM

Mr. Big is coming to CI?

Jobronie 11-30-04 02:36 PM

Now, this would have nothing to do with CI getting its ass kicked by Desperate Housewives, would it.......?

mikehunt 11-30-04 03:16 PM

D'Onofrio's character is a pompous ass
not necessarily saying he is, as it's probably how the part is written

Okay, I'll bite - what makes you feeling that Robert Goren is a pompous ass? Seriously. I can think of a lot of ways to describe Goren, but pompous ass just doesn't fit...

Shady12 11-30-04 06:57 PM

What are his health problems?

mikehunt 11-30-04 07:09 PM

ok, condescending probably would have been better
one example was the other week when the lady was found in the park and another detective had the case at first but goren immediately questioned everything the guy had done. and he constantly acts like a know it all

mikehunt 11-30-04 07:13 PM

Agreed. Everytime I try to watch the show and give it another chance I am reminded why this is the only shoe in the franchise I cannot stand. He acts like he is a fucking magician or some shit.

Agreed. Noth is a sub-par actor at best. He was boring in the original, I can't imagine him being any better in CI.

-eek- Man, I can think of a lot of words to describe Mike Logan in the original series and boring is pretty far down on the list.

CI would definitely be a different show with Logan instead of Goren. Not better or worse... just different.
