As I recall, he didn't say he saw them die in the purge. Just that he saw them die.

I think it's obvious that they will change something. Possibly someone important will die though.

It would be interesting if one of the major characters dies (Jack) but is kept through the next season as flashbacks.

So what else could he be referring to? Maybe the incident kills everyone on the island. But that wouldn't work since there was still the Others and Dharma left over to be purged.

Or any of the other numerous ways people could die.

We don't know what he's referring to.

The rule is that if hasn't aired in the broadcast, it needs a tag. It's not a judgment call. It's black or white.

Damn you guys! It seems I'm not that strong and clicked in one of the spoilers in this thread.

So, I'll have to say goodbye until Wednesday night (or Thursday morning).

It's not you, really, it's me.

Well, isn't that the point of this entire season?

Re: Lost -- "Follow the Leader" -- 5/6/09

I'm guessing there could be a direct connection to what John Locke is about to do and what Jack/Sayid/etc is about to do. Seems to make sense as we are heading to something significant in both time frames.

I'm curious if we'll eventually be shown what else happened before the purge. For example, we've seen Dharma videos where Dr Candle is doing experiments with rabbits, perhaps using Faraday's notes... wondering if there are any stories to tell around that time frame.

did anybody think the CGI submarine submerging was distracting. was it that tough to film a real submarine going under?

They probably had the choice between CGI and stock footage and chose the lesser of two evils.

So does that mean, when we were flashing through time with Locke, we actually flashed into the future? Or are Locke, Ben, and Richard in the past right now? Or... if it... I just think that... Err what if...

God damn it LOST, I just went cross eyed.

I saw the new Wolverine movie Monday night so I have a recent basis of CGI quality comparision.

The sub CGI looked fucking amazing!

It definitely stood out in HD, but I've seen worse.

Yeah, the CGI sub looked awful. But that was the only really bad part of the whole episode IMHO.

Re: Lost -- "Follow the Leader" -- 5/6/09

I'm really looking forward to all the stories [hydrogen bomb/incident, Locke/Jacob, Bram/mystery box, Desmond/island] converging into one explosive finale. Should be some intense editing. Hopefully, it won't be too frustrating of a cliffhanger ending.

I'm not sure how they can have a reboot with 815 not crashing because it would also prevent 316 from bringing the eventual Dharma members to the island that initiate the reboot. Thus a Paradox.

Yes, we flashed into the future with Locke (it was the future at the time of that episode, now it is the present).

i'm curious as to who figures out how to actually detonate the hydrogen bomb. it's not like there is a switch on the side that says "flip me for incident ..."

I would assume everything Farday was planning and how to carry it out is all written in his journal.

this might have stated somewhere in this thread, but there's a speculation that the time continium lapsing has

Spoiler:
the two ultimately dying in the cave, the two skeletons seen in season 1

if this has already been mentioned sorry for the redundancy.

Kelvin, not Calvin.

Which is kind of a Star Trek reference, now....

And hopefully Kelvin got tired of his douchebaggery and murdered the fuck.

Yea, if you watch the S2 finale again notice that right before Desmond kills Kelvin he asks him what else he lied about. It wouldn't surprise me if Kelvin took out Razinsky because he was a pain in the ass.

I don't think we'll ever find out though because Razinsky supposedly died inside the Swan, and I believe they took that set apart after S2.
