Richard and Ben must know a lot about the Jacob situation, as the subject seems very sensitive.

Enjoyed this one quite a bit. Richard is one of my favorite characters and it was nice to see him get alot of screen time. I hope they don't keep Ben in his current wuss form for the rest of the series. And Dr. Chang quizzing Hurley...

Seems like they are setting up a season finale that is part "The Stand" and part "The Dark Tower". I for one hope that they'll stick with the constant universe approach and reveal the variable universe to be an error/mistake.

John Locke says he must kill Jacob = WTF?!!!!
Great episode. Can't wait for the finale next week. Though I'm dreading what is going to happen.
Plus Locke doesn't really seem like himself. If he's not really alive, and it's just the island/something else controlling him I'm going to be depressed.

so Locke is going to kill Christian?? Guy just can't catch a break
unless by kill him he means "kill" him like Ben did to John.
Can't wait till Jack stands next to the bomb and proclaims with evil laughter "I AM JACK ... DESTROYER OF EVIL!!!!!"

I dunno, the smoke monster and the island seem to be on Locke's side now, yet Locke wants Jacob dead. If we are to assume that Locke is carrying out the island's wishes then Jacob must be a threat in some way. Is this a hint that Jacob does equal Jack, his phasing "in and out" condition possibly a result of the Incident?

Also, this episode was packed with stuff but that had to have been a hint at the beginning when Richard was working on the pirate ship in a bottle.

I thought I read in Entertainment Weekly a few months back that this season we were supposed to find out why he doesn't age.

so far the most plausible idea.

Awesome episode.
'Call my lawyer.' <- My fav.
'Who's the president of the USA?'
'OK, we're from the future.'
'Want the bullet?'
'Keep it.'
Above with Chang was hilarious b/c Hurley couldn't think of any president names from the 70s.
Liked that they kept story going with Eloise. Was hoping for more Richard, too.

Fricken storm knocked out the satellite for about 5 minutes in the beginning when Locke showed up on the beach with Richard.
Otherwise a great episode. I just started rewatching this season to get ready for next week.
How many characters have had 3+ actors/actresses play them?
Miles- baby, kid, present
Eloise- 17, midlife, present
Ben- baby, kid, present
Locke- baby(birth?), kid(with Richard), present

Since I can't remember anything, a request for some help. Who shot Locke in the leg, and did it happen before or after he joined up with the other 1977 castaways?

Ethan shot him, and it happened right before 815 crashed, hence Ethan not knowing him. After he is shot Locke flashed to the future where Richard helps him out. (tonight's episode)
