Wow. That is very surprising. Figured they would at least give it a 13 episode order to test the waters. Hopefully that gives Privileged a better shot at coming back.

Sorry, count me out of Melrose Place. I am not going to watch Ashlee Simpsons stupid ugly face every week. Who's bright idea was that?

If they can make Melrose place just as sleazy as the original it should be worth watching.

Good news is that Privileged is likely to be picked up.
Bad news is that only 3 of the above 6 pilots will be a go if Privileged gets picked up. Melrose is happening. That leaves 2. Vampire Diaries is a lock. GG spinoff is 'eh. The Beautiful Life looks like a go as well. That means The Body Politic and Light Years are likely dead. I think they might do 3 and order another one as a mid-season show.

These all sound pretty bad. The political one is probably the most interesting of the bunch, and that's simply because of the cast.

My question for them is how would "Body Politic," "Lily," or The Model Show even go on for 5+ years?

Re: Peak at the Pilots - The CW
I think its an interesting premise. But from everything I've heard the pilot just feel apart at the seams. But it seems like the CW is talking about a less than 13-episode mid-season pick up to give the writers/producers time to tweak the story and casting...

Re: Peak at the Pilots - The CW
It's easy to keep a show about politics (West Wing, anyone) fresh, and the show about models could have a circulating cast. Lily is the only one that's limited since the main character's outcome has already been determined. Sure you can have her hooking up with random musicians and boys-of-the-week, but that would get old after a couple of years, if not just one season. It'd be hard for the viewers to be emotionally invested in any of her relationships because you already know who gets her pregnant, who she turns down, when...it's very limited.

Privileged is looking to get the Friday night slot...not sure in the Fall or Midseason though.
