Honestly, I think this hour was used mainly to set up the plot points for next season. No way do I believe Jack's going to bring down this entire organization in the next 4 hours. At best, he'll stop the attack (or not--this is 24 LOL) and next season will be about him and Renee taking down the remaining members of the quorum.

Maybe that is what will get Jack to take help from his daughter. He has to stay alive to wrap up the loose ends. Maybe Tony.

Anyone know the name of the actress playing "Bizarro Renee" (aka the evil redhead that Tony is working with)? She looks familiar.

Pretty funny that the guy their framing for the attack played an actual terrorist on Sleeper Cell.

I loved this episode! Great acting scenes all around.
1. Bauer vs. Hodges. Loved that scene. That dark room was lit very well by the crew. Great effect.
2. Bauer reaming Janis. Sounds like my boss...haha
2a. When Bauer said David Palmer, I was confused as well. I searched my memory bank trying to figure out what the hell he was talking about
3. Chloe and Morris. Sad scene. Didn't know why it was kinda sad, but it was.
4. The anonymous meeting via chat room was cool. Don't think I've seen something like that before in a movie or TV show.
5. Tony suffocating Galvez with a shower curtain. A nasty motel shower curtain as well. That makes it worse. That scene actually reminded me of Commando. I expected Bowen to come in and say she had enough of this macho bullshit. Though I guess she did when she "chastised" Tony for killing Galvez.
6. Glad to see Aaron back. Classy.

I thought it was a decent episode. I have to agree with the above comment from JuryDuty that this episode seemed to set up a possible new story arc for next season. I concur that I don't think it's possible for Jack and Renee to take down this entire organization in only 4 hours.
The Bauer vs Hodges confrontation was pretty cool. I think Kiefer really owned that scene.
Jack losing it and screaming at Janis was fricking awesome. But, when he threw out David Palmer's name, I was like WTF!! But, it was cool nevertheless. Kiefer is definitely a good screamer.
Good to see Mary Lynn Rajskub back in the show after her pregnancy leave (at the time this was filmed almost 1 year ago) I know some of you aren't fans of Chloe, but I think she's still an important part of this show. I liked her and Janis going back and forth after Janis started complaining.
I was confused slightly with the Jack and Jonas confrontation. Jonas initially said "Who are you?" when Jack entered the room. However, he latered mentioned seeing Jack on TV in the Senate hearings. Was that just because of the lighting in the room in their initial meeting?
Another scene that was a little weird was when Olivia called that guy for a late night meeting. Was that guy sleeping with a man? I could have sworn once that guy got out of bed there was a dude with a mustache and beard with his arm around him.
Tony's confrontation with Galvez was pretty badass.
Overall, decent episode, but it didn't really advance the overall story arc that much.

I really enjoyed the anonymous meeting. Really cool. I have to agree that given Jack's condition, it would be much better to have Jack and Rene stop the attack this year to set up a confrontation with the new secret organization and Tony next year.

When Chloe makes someone else look annoying by comparison, then you know you hired the right person.

I'm going to blame it on him almost dying, and he was groggy and stressed. The lighting was poor when Jack first walks in, and then when Hodges hears his name, and gets a better look, he remembers him from the Senate Hearings.

My guess is they're going to flip Tony back to being good. I told my hubby last night - I bet Tony is now going to go for the anonymous 12.
They'll explain that Tony couldn't use Jack because of his illness, etc so he had to lie to him.
Maybe I'm wrong, but it just doesn't make much sense otherwise imo.

Renee has revenge in the back of her mind; would be cool if she got to execute Tony.
and yeah, that Hodges/Bauer thing kinda bothered me ...so i just assumed that Hodges was kinda "out of it"
Jack/Chloe scenes are always the shit
and that verbal beatdown of Janis was excellent. (well except for the delusional David Palmer aspect, but the scene worked great...Jack was getting agitated as fuck w/ all the PC bullshit)

At least they didn't use Live Meeting - if it had gone like most of my experiences with it, we would have been treated to twenty minutes of everyone installing software before they could get started.

Tony killed two FBI agents because he needed some wheels. He also tried to blow up 25 agents earlier. Plus he smothered Larry. With that, I'd be very surprised if that was all part of his "deep cover" to catch the Anonymous 12.
LOVED Jack putting Janis in her place. Even if he was losing it, it was awesome.

So Quantum has now gone ahead and voted on doing a strike now with the virus than 6 months down the line? How many can be affected by one little canister?

i'd imagine if you disperse it in a populous place, like a mall or a sporting event, you could potentially infect thousands.

what do we call the group?
last time around it was easy; we just called em "The Bluetooth Group" or "Bluetooth Bunch" etc
do we have a decent name for this group besides "Annonymous..."
