Wow! Excellent episode! Nice that 24 doesn't blow chunks anymore.

Interesting theory...but I'm not so sure. I have a feeling Jack really had a seizure and that's how Tony will get away for a few hours.

What ever happened to Chase? Didn't know he and Kim broke up...

Chase was written out ages ago. Kim showed up in season 5 with a new guy, her therapist or something.

could be but not too convinced
Jack took a shot 20 minutes before getting the shakes, I guess the virus could be accelertating but I would think the shot should have masked the symptoms for longer .... plus it seemed like Jack saw Tony aiding someone else who already got away and I think he knew Tony was covering up and he wasn't going to talk any info out of Tony so I'd like to think he let him get away for the moment only to quickly put a tail on him.

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- Day 7 -- "2:00am to 3:00am" -- 4/20/09

great episode!

No political crap. That makes me happy.

FBI raid of the apartment complex reminded me of Saw. It's a trap!

Renee continues to escape death. Awesome.

This episode reminded me a lot of Day 1: bad guy impersonating someone, the name Teri, and even Kim's husband reminded me of Rick. I had a feeling Kim was talking to a true significant other since he was standing in a master bedroom with what looked like an expensive bed. Turns out she's married. Good for Kim. No more douchebag boyfriends.

Damn Tony. Kinda F'd up by mocking Bauer with his med kit.

Glad Bauer is back in the field. Well, sorta.

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- Day 7 -- "2:00am to 3:00am" -- 4/20/09

Freaking awesome ass episode! Loved Renee in this episode. I think she displayed alot of leadership and badass qualities that she probably picked up from the past 18 hours under Jack. I think Annie Wersching is easily the best female lead this show has ever had. I liked that they kept the White House scenes to a minimum.

Was Jeffrey Nordling credited in this episode?

The FBI raid and explosion was great as well. You could really sense in Tony's eyes that he wasn't really as careful when Jack put the pieces together abou the gun. Also, loved when Jack finally realized that Tony was playing him all along, but unfortunately that damn seizure happened.

Finally, I also enjoyed Kim's scenes with her husband and the nod to Teri with her baby. I think once Jack finds out that he's a Grand Pappy, he's going to change his mind about the treatments. I mean now besides his daughter, he has something else to live for.

Can't wait until next Monday.
The whole structure of the episode was freaking intense. I also liked the opening scene with Jonas' lawyer getting killed and replaced by the lookalike. So I'm assuming that Will Patton is the actual pupeteer behind everything?

another great episode, just about every episode this season has been super riveting.

It's painful to watch sick Jack, it really is

love the female lawyer and her impersonator. I'd do them both together !

I wouldn't mind seeing Kim and little Terri being bought into the drama because that would really be the trigger to make Jack a true killing machine

Any chance somebody can grab a few screenshots of Jack meeting with the debriefer at FBI headquarters?

That dude looks just like somebody I work with, and I'd like to heckle him.

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- Day 7 -- "2:00am to 3:00am" -- 4/20/09

Fantastic show again, this season is just unbelievable.

Typical 24, they didn't waste time having Jack figure out Tony was playing them. Very good moments when Tony sees that Jack is putting things together, I really hope they don't kill off Tony this season, this pair have an awesome chemistry which would make a Jack vs. Tony season or film just amazing.

I hope we won't get another Kim kidnapping though, even if it's by Tony's men. Have Kim come back, help cure Jack and leave. Or possibly stay as a very minor role with the family next season.

I hope that this season concludes with Jack stopping this new organization we're seeing and their evil plans without destroying them, they look very strong and well organized. Keep that for next season and Tony's death in the 24 movie.

So did they show Jon Voight die? Or did we not get confirmation of that yet? I do NOT want him to go out by taking a pill. Fuck that.

Re: Twenty Four (24) -- Day 7 -- "2:00am to 3:00am" -- 4/20/09

I have to say, I haven't been enjoying this season all that much, especially not lately. I also am not a fan of season 5 though. Used to love the show and will keep watching it, but I've been disappointed with the past 3 seasons (especially season 6). That being said, was anyone else disappointed that
Spoiler:
they showed Jonas Hodges alive on the preview for next week? Not that I don't want to see more of his character, but it gave away a decent cliffhanger. One thing I really have enjoyed this season is his character.

And now you have given away a decent cliffhanger for everyone that reads this thread. Thanks.

If you want to discuss what they show in the previews put it in spoiler tags(seen below). There are quite a few of us that don't watch the previews for that exact reason. That goes for any show thread, not just 24.

Ah, sorry! I'll fix that right away. I don't normally post here and I was just assuming it was ok since it was a thread about last night's episode and the preview was tacked on to last night's episode.

I am in the minority. Although I feel this season has been good...it has been far from season 5 great. However, a few things I am willing to overlook so my enjoyment is still high at the moment.

We'll be finding out who or what Quantum is... since it ain't Starkwood.
So far.. it's been Jack on a mission and the twists and turns of Juma, the device, the bio-weapon, have uncovered some other organization pulling the strings... each episode is revealing more about how ruthless this organization is. Voigt is now seen just as a puppet, just like Le Chiffre and Dominic Greene, Im sure we'll meet Mr. White soon if we haven't already with whoever the fake lawyer chick was talking to on the phone.
