Re: One Tree Hill -- "Letting Go" -- 3/30/09
So, anyone watch last night?
Thought it was a so-so episode at best. The stuff with Julian and Brooke was just way too melodramatic and sappy. I mean it's good that Brooke is finally starting to open up and not act like she's 45 years old. The thing that bugged me was when Julian said that he wants Brooke and Sam to move to LA together to be a "Family???" Let's take it one step at a time dude.
Best part of the episode was Mouth and Skills road trip to see GiGi. I guess Skills is sorta over Nanny Deb, but why didn't Mouth just go with it and have fun? But, in the end it was kinda nice seeing him get back with Millie.
BTW, how long is the drive from North Carolina to New York? Seems like they got there awfully fast and in the same evening.
It sucks that there is another 3 week break. I hope they do bring back Karen, Andy and Luke's little sister for the wedding, which I anticipate will be the season finale.

The whole Brooke storyline is simply annoying (as is Lucas/Peyton). I'm so sick of her 'adult' storylines - wanting a baby/biological clock, running a company, serious relationships blah blah blah. Plus I doubt there is a state in the union where if you are a foster parent you can just up and move 3000 miles away with your foster child. Between that and the fact that they just met makes it impossible to believe.
That was the lamest road trip ever.
For the love of god, just bring the fun, stupid writers.

I thought the ep. was Ok. I was hoping Julian was gone for good but from the preview (another 3 fucking weeks?!) of the next few episodes it looks like he's back.

I don't think it's a given about Peyton's fate. I think she may be preparing for that as a possibility since she is preparing that time capsule for her kid.
