That will never happen. He is one of the shows' writers and surely has that credit listing as part of his contract.

That made me laugh. Poor Toby... or maybe wise Toby. I can't decide if he just pities Michael, fails to see him as a threat or what. But him saying that essentially he's going to miss Michael is just so out there.

It will be interesting to see where this is all headed. It's a shame we have to wait two weeks for a new episode, but it looks like there will be two new episodes airing that night.

I mean, "The Injury" from Season 2 is, IMHO, one of the best episodes of the show...and we had concussed Dwight vomiting on his car, spraying people in the face with water bottles and Michael sticking his foot into a George Forman Grill. How is that not absurd?
I understand. I recognize its a fine line of believability between having a cooker in your bed because you like bacon and threatening to jump off the roof into a bouncy castle or thinking its reasonable to take the day off to play Survivorman. There's also the matter of, to me, these wackier things becoming increased and more common as opposed to just every now and then. But, ya' know, maybe its just me.

Well that's certainly fair and understandable

The two moments that tipped the scales toward Pam heading out the door with Michael: His rhetorical question asking if they were really being all that they could be, and the clincher was Charles reufusing to let Michael even take a moment to say goodbye.

Great episode, great story arc.

Thought it would be kind of cool if Michael is escorted out of the building. Pam quickly glance at the framed picture of the building she drew that Michael hung on the wall from the art show from season 3. Knowing that Michael was the only one that really supported her telling her how proud he was of her would also could of been a nice additional reason for her to quit and follow Michael.

I finally saw this on Hulu.com and agree with some others that the ending looked like a clear reference to The Graduate more than anything else. The characters were exhilarated at getting away from a dead end situation in which they felt trapped, but then had a "now what?" look on their faces afterwards.

Now THAT would be jumping the shark.
