So, I have been warned by DVD Talk to stop creating so many threads and hogging this forum. So, I'm cutting back on alot of threads and letting others get a fair share. I guess the amount of threads I created daily was a bit overkill so I apologize if anyone thought I was hogging this forum.

I usually check your posts to see what is on before i check any other listings. I am glad you make posts for most of the shows i like.

If you haven't been warned by a moderator, then I would suggest you ignore the complainers. For every poster there are thousands of lurkers, I would bet they appreciate your posts as much as I do.

Keep up with the threads .... and thanks for all your work.

Yeah, I would agree. You should keep up the the threads.

Also, having Lois back has renewed my interest in this season, I don't like that they are turn Lois and Clark into a rehash of Lana and Clark.

I don't understand why it matters who creates what threads.

Re: Smallville -- "Turbulence" -- 3/19/09

It would be started eventually anyway why not have it in a nice format with a promo shot and synopsis?

Back to the show at hand. Not sure I can muster up the desire to watch this. Still haven't watched last week and it's all seeming so pointless now.

It's not a huge deal, but maybe there are others that want to contribute, but with one user creating so many show threads it limits that possibility. Maybe someone who is more into the show wants to put a more detailed thread together like linking a whole season of threads together or something like that? Of course if it was me and I wanted to do something more involved, I'd just PM the OP and ask to give me a shot the next week.

Either way, I don't care as long as there is a thread to discuss a show in.

*note - it is not me. :)

I was actually warned by a DVD Talk Administrator, so I have to respect their rules as he pointed out to me in a PM.

Otherwise, there are a few shows like 24, Amazing Race, Terminator and this show that I am passionate about and will continue to contribute when I can.

Thanks for the support guys!

I'm with the "what's the big deal?" crowd. I like NOT having to create the threads and having them be here when I check the board.

On topic, are the new show handlers finally doing away with the "no flights" rule? You'd think after 8 years Clark would've gotten that down already. Especially since "Kal-El" did it with such ease.

I saw a promo for Smallville that will be airing at the end of tonight's episode.
It shows Clark
Spoiler:
flying and Chloe saying, Up, Up and Away. Did they get rid of the No Flight rule?

^ I think so, for this week anyway.

Count me in as another one who likes your posts and doesn't see the big deal about who starts them.

I can't believe this shit of limiting the creation of threads still going on. I wrote a complaint about it in the feedback section 3 years ago and almost no one agreed that members should be limited in creating threads if they are done in the proper manner and in the best interest of the forum and its members. Still to this day, there isn't anything written down stating the amount of thread a single member can create.

http://forum.dvdtalk.com/forum-feedb...roblems-3.html

I don't understand the forum administrators or whoever it is, discouraging people in participating and contributing to the forum. DJariya has created a perfect format for TV weekly threads. Why does he have to stop then? Is someone else going to do the same thing he does? Probably not. His threads are of value to the forum since it brings traffic and discussion, which is what this place is supposed to be about. This micromanaging bullshit has to stop, specially when there are no written rules that you can point members to follow. I don't get why this member gets discourage but others that don't contribute anything are allowed to roam free.

Well well written. And I agree completely.

Just out of curiosity, if Clark didnt...

Spoiler:
fly out of the plane, and instead just jumped off, -how did he absorb all the impact from the landing keeping Mercer alive?

Just try liking a show that no one else cares about. Like My Name is Earl. Or Deal or No Deal.

Ooooh, on that note, Betty White is on tonight!

I have thought Tess looked creepy and not attractive all season, but in this episode she looked VERY attractive...i was hoping that was where clark was going with all that Champagne...

Would it matter if the person starting it was a paying site customer? Honestly I like the new thread on each episode so I dont have to weed through people bumping a thread with just a random comment as opposed to new info or discussing the current episode.

But not my site, not my rules.

I wondered that the entire time, um, you cannot do that without killing the person, I have an idea. FLY!!!!!!!! For the love of cheese, FLY!!! already, they are writing him like a ..........

That no flight thing was based on when the show first started and may be on for four years, maybe five, they have kind of gone past that.
