Don't like they way Jimmy's storyline is going. So we're suppose to believe that he goes all dark, starts popping pills and them turns all golly gee again to work at the Daily Planet with Clark and Lois?

Re: Smallville -- "Turbulence" -- 3/19/09

This show seemed like two episodes compressed into one. And where was Lois this episode? At least we got quite a bit of Tess.

On topic, are the new show handlers finally doing away with the "no flights" rule? You'd think after 8 years Clark would've gotten that down already. Especially since "Kal-El" did it with such ease.

And it is still just silly. They perpetuated it further in this episode when Clark clearly tells Chloe that he didn't really "fly" but just sort of jumped. Jeez. Come on already!!!

Still to this day, there isn't anything written down stating the amount of thread a single member can create.

I don't understand the forum administrators or whoever it is, discouraging people in participating and contributing to the forum. DJariya has created a perfect format for TV weekly threads. Why does he have to stop then? Is someone else going to do the same thing he does? Probably not. His threads are of value to the forum since it brings traffic and discussion, which is what this place is supposed to be about. This micromanaging bullshit has to stop, specially when there are no written rules that you can point members to follow. I don't get why this member gets discourage but others that don't contribute anything are allowed to roam free.

I agree.

I think the only time I remember Clark flying was when he flew up to Lex's plane because some crystal was calling him. Maybe memory is wrong.

The word I'm seeing around is that here, Clark did not fly, but JUMPED to save Tess.

I won't get hung up on the 'if he jumped, she should've died from the impact' thing. For someone like him, I can ignore the laws of physics.

Let him fly!

what pisses me off on the no flying thing is that clark knows for a fact kryptonians can fly and that he himself has flown at least once while under the effects of red kryptonite

and he changes clothes only to step out of the booth and stand there for any security cameras or people to get a good look

lol

but regarding the show... wtf? i coulda avoided watching that

what was the ending about?

i guess they were eluding to jimmy taking more than 3 pills and becoming an addict

chloe crying her eyes out staring out a window?

and davis just got through with a kill?

huh?

anyways i did like the score (had a nice sad somber vibe to it)

and that girls eyes are incredible to look at.

smallville started out good this season finally, now these last few eps have been horrid imo

The problem is they are having to draw this Davis/Doomsday thing out for a whole season and its starting to get a bit old.

BINGO! At LEAST one more season. This season was going well until it was no longer going to be the series finale. These may very well be my final episodes - and I NEVER quit a show!

If next fall is as congested for my TiVo on Thursdays at 8, it may be bye-bye Smallville.

Hard to think of a show being renewed that has received this much negative reaction. I was in till the end but it's getting increasingly hard at this point and I'm not sure there is any way I can make it through another season.

I hate the no-flying thing. I hate the no-costume thing.

I hate the bullshit guest-stars they give you.

Where the fuck is Bruce, Diana and Hal?

Seriously, you give me Aquaman, Black Canary and Flash? They suck balls. Just cancel this show and give me a new show called Gotham about Bruce growing up and learning to stomp ass.

Unfortunately you'll get a show about Dick Grayson growing up in the circus.

Not happening anymore. That Robin Pilot was cancelled before it even got written.

When Jimmy was taking the pills I thought he was attempting to become a target for Davis. Maybe i am giving them too much credit but he did hear Davis say he went after a drunk driver who killed a mother and her child. Surely they wouldnt let Jimmy hurt anyone like that but i think he wants to prove Davis is a killer.

That's the normal "W" shaped pattern for the show. It starts out high, creeps down hill, slowly goes back up only to head back down and finishes the season on a high note. It's one of the most consistant things about the show.

Seemed like this season had a much longer high period and a bigger crash than previous seasons.

That whole arc is lame.

All they had to do was have Clark and Doomsday in a huge grude match. Make Clark think he killed him. Continue the Tess storyline. Then bring back Doomsday (and Lex if Rossenbaum is willing to play ball) for the finale. Not this silly Jimmy/Chloe/Davis crap they've been using to waste screentime.

After this last episode, not sure how much longer Chloe will be with us...

Somehow think there will be a sacrifice when the Clark-Doomsday showdown happens.

Re: Smallville -- "Turbulence" -- 3/19/09

I enjoyed the Tess & Clark storyline, but Jimmy's plot was tired by the 30 minute mark. It just seems this is some lame storyline just to break Jimmy & Chloe up. Why can't they be happy for a whole episode? They're good together.

I loved the little discussion about Clark's backpack with his 'red blue blur' clothes in it, and then the blue shirt under his work clothes when he was showing off for Chloe.

Re: Smallville -- "Turbulence" -- 3/19/09

I liked the Tess and Clark storyline, but for god's sake I wish they would just let him FLY! Seriously. He can already run around the world in like 2 seconds. How does flying really affect it that much?

I've NEVER liked what they've done with Jimmy. And the Jimmy and Chloe show has been terrible, IMO. Now it looks it's going to be even worse. Lame. Couldn't care LESS about his character. Send him to Star City for a few years.

I haven't completely hated the Doomsday/Davis stuff as much as I thought I would, but it's definitely starting to drag at this point.

And yes, I think this should still be the last season. Have Clark fly and face off with Doomsday. Final shots involving the costume maybe? What could be a better series finale? :)
