The addition of Ryan is even worse than I thought it would be.

Really? How so?

I thought that the episode was very good! I loved the dinner, and the scene between Nora and Saul. I also enjoyed the Kitty and Robert story. Both Sally Field and Rob Lowe were at the top of their game! I continue to enjoy this wonderful show!

This was a very good episode. Much better than last week.

I can't think of another show where the acting level is so high, and so consistent. It helps us get past the episodes where the writing is less than great.

I thought it was a good episode too.
I was very impressed to see Robert still dealing w/ having open heart surgery.
I thought for sure it would have been forgotten about. It was good to see that even though he thought it was no big deal, in the end it finally hit him: having your chest cut open from top to bottom is life changing.
I was also impressed that they included his two older kids that are usually forgotten about.

We should start a pool: how long before Rebecca hooks up with the newest Walker.

I agree. The only objection I kind of had with it is the Ryan/Rebecca thing. The show is so complex at times, but sometimes you can see things coming from a mile away.

When Saul started mouthing off at Nora, I wish she'd saved some slap for him. Why would he keep that information to himself? Can you imagine your entire family falling apart and you weren't even given an opportunity to turn things around before they got worse? Everytime Saul is on screen he's keeping a secret...

I'm enjoying the show a lot this season, but I'm kind of disappointed that Kevin has really become a background character. He hasn't had any storylines this season (that I can remember), and he was pretty central to the story in seasons 1 and 2.

I wish Justin would shave that ratty beard. He's the youngest of the family and he has a mustache, beard and gray hairs all over.

Kevin will have a storyline soon as the actor dude (Jason Lewis) comes back and has a proposition for both him and Scotty.
Hmmm.

I think he is a great addition.
I too enjoyed this episode much more than the over Advertised one from last week. Enjoyed the scenes with Rob Lowe and him struggling with telling his kids.
I would really like them to see them do something with Holly's character. It seems that she doesn't even listen to Ken Oln's character. Enough with revenge on the Walkers.
Another meal/fight? Haven't we done this before? Always good for some great acting scenes though.
