Probably because he understood that Helo was dealing with his daughter being missing and the funeral was for cylons as well as humans.

I certainly hope some of the great revelations about what happened in the past are not being held for the Caprica series - that would be dumb. Everything feels like filler at this point.

Having just sold all my DVD's in anticipation of this summer's Blu-ray set, I'm not even sure now I'll rebuy it. Poor endings reflect badly on a dramatic series and make me want to not rewatch them.

It does seem like filler and slow filler too.

Had a question - I've started watching this season after recording the episodes on my DVR (I'm through the first two).

Is there an episode 77? I have episodes 74 (premiere), 75, 76, then 78+. 76 and 78 were one week apart and there doesn't seem to be the equivelant of an episode 77 on iTunes.

Do your episode titles line up with the threads in this forum?

I don't know much about the numbering, but I know there's an episode/movie coming after the series finale called "The Plan" that might have taken that production number from the run.

Anybody read the article in TVGuide about the Top 10 Most Memorable Episodes?

Exodus Part 2 was nowhere to be found. -ohbfrank-

Of every show ever or just BSG? If the latter, then WTF?

I'll have to check the show titles again - I suspect that I have them all since the days line up.

And besides the stand-alone movie that's coming out, there's a new series called Caprica which will be set in the BSG universe about 50 years prior to the Cylon attack, with a whole new cast. I think Caprica will be in the fall, or possibly in spring '10.

With regard to the movie, I'm looking forward to it. Per what I saw last summer, it was to be directed by Edward James Olmos and...

plot summary:
Spoiler:
The early days following the attack, from the Cylon perspective.

Series star Edward James Olmos will direct a two-hour "BSG" "event" to air shortly after the series conclusion. Starting before the events of the miniseries, the story focuses on familiar characters including Cylon Number One, known as Cavil (Dean Stockwell), Resistance Leader Sam T. Anders (Michael Trucco) and Chief Galen Tyrol (Aaron Douglas). In the beginning, the Cylons had a plan, but it didn't account for one thing: survivors. During the chaotic aftermath of the destruction, two powerful Cylon agents struggle with plots and priorities on the human ships that got away, and among the resistance fighters who were left behind. Written by "BSG's" Jane Espenson, the movie will begin shooting in Vancouver at the end of this summer.

It was just for BSG. Here's the list (it's not actually "Top 10", but rather "10 Most Memorable Episodes")

33
Kobol's Last Gleaming
The Farm
Resurrection Ship
Scar
Lay Down Your Burdens Pt2
Crossroads Pt2
Razor
The Ties That Bind
Blood on the Scales

Getting close to the end and i can't help but feel that the makers are not giving it their all. Dunno.

After having seen Katee Sackhoff on Nip/Tuck i'm not sure that i could describe her as a good actress [anymore]. Many of the actors on the show were untried... how many came out as new ... if not stars, candidates to stardom?

Not talking about the two veterans....

It's a struggle to make it to the end.
