That performance by Public Enemy with the Roots backing them up was great to watch.

His joke about the NCAA tournament cutting costs by forcing players to replace the nets was funny but most of the audience did not get it.

Ferguson is in the same boat where he looks like a nice guy but he is not funny.

I still prefer Fallon over Kimmel, Ferguson, and Letterman but he is below Conan and Leno.

The really baffling thing is that he's a standup, but the low points of the show at this point (for me, anyway) are the monologues. Maybe he's still nervous; some of his adlibs during the interviews are pretty good, so I still have my hopes that he can pull it out.

I caught an episode. The jokes are definitely falling flat. Like the Roots and wish I had caught the PE show Monday. Liked the stuff with Bill Paxton last night telling Jimmy he would be great as Buster Keaton in a biopic he wants to direct. The do look similar. Maybe Jimmy should be looking into that sooner than later! But I expect the show will smooth out at some point. New writers, Jimmy finds his groove. For the record, I liked Conan from the start.

SOme good news (well for me at least since I'm rooting for Fallon to FAIL) from IMDB:

Ferguson's Late Late Show scored a 1.8 rating and a 6 share to Fallon's 1.6/6 -- not a big difference and probably statistically insignificant, but the closeness of the race likely produced some worry among NBC programmers, given O'Brien's consistent winning streak in the time period."

i dont think he is very funny either. he is better than fallon though. then again that isnt really saying much.
i dont know why i keep watching fallon. the show is awful but i cant look away.

Fallon is being paid like five million for three years whichs is about half what Conan was getting paid during his last years at Late Night so like it or not it'll be around for a while.

They should really make sure people show up for rehearsal. This is rough.

Fallon's audience seems to ignore the "applaud" sign during the monologues. There are quite a few bouts of silence, and he just stands there looking like he's about to cry. Not good.

I keep clicking this thread with hopes that either Fallon has been cancelel or blown up.

I saw that DBag skit and it sucked... that was a laugh track being played during it.
