(5:1) {053} Aaron is shown on the island at any point (including flashbacks, not including "Previously on Lost"). (7:1) {054} Aaron is shown at any point (including flashbacks, not including "Previously on Lost"). (3:1) {055} We are shown Jacob's cabin. (13:1) {056} Widmore is revealed to be Farraday's father. (9:1) {057} A scene takes place in or a direct reference is made to "The Tempest" Dharma station. (8:1) {058} Young Ben is revealed to not have died at all and only suffered an injury from the gunshot. (6:1) {059} Someone gets a nosebleed. (5:1) {060} Hurley is shown shirtless. (15:1) Off you go! Post your bets here by Wednesday, April 1st at 8:55PM EST. Please make your bets in this format: {00X} $AmountBet OR {00X} Description $AmountBet Thanks! |

Re: TV Talk's The LOST Game
My open plays:
Spoiler:
700 + 500 = 1200 this week. {051} A scene takes place underground or in a cave. (3:1) $400 {058} Young Ben is revealed to not have died at all and only suffered an injury from the gunshot. (6:1) $800 |
Re: TV Talk's The LOST Game
{056} Widmore is revealed to be Farraday's father. (9:1) $1000
{058} Young Ben is revealed to not have died at all and only suffered an injury from the gunshot. (6:1) $1000 |
Re: TV Talk's The LOST Game
I'll be keeping my bank this week.
{051} A scene takes place underground or in a cave. (3:1) {052} A child dies or is kidnapped. (5:1) {053} Aaron is shown on the island at any point (including flashbacks, not including "Previously on Lost"). (7:1) $100 {054} Aaron is shown at any point (including flashbacks, not including "Previously on Lost"). (3:1) {055} We are shown Jacob's cabin. (13:1) {056} Widmore is revealed to be Farraday's father. (9:1) {057} A scene takes place in or a direct reference is made to "The Tempest" Dharma station. (8:1) $100 {058} Young Ben is revealed to not have died at all and only suffered an injury from the gunshot. (6:1) $200 {059} Someone gets a nosebleed. (5:1) $100 {060} Hurley is shown shirtless. (15:1) I am concerned with 52/58 and 53/54. There seems to be overlap. If 53 is correct, then that means 54 happened as well. Why is there a need for the other? I'd say 53 and 58 would be the valid bets. |

Re: TV Talk's The LOST Game
We need a definition of "dead". Can he be "dead" and come back to life, or does that just mean he was never "dead"?
Not letting $60k get away that easy!! |
Re: TV Talk's The LOST Game
I actually considered that. To me, resurrection implies "died" and therefore the bet would be lost. So I'm riding everything on that the island doesn't resurrect people already there as I have no memory of that happening. Healing, preventing deaths, and resurrecting dead people that come to the island, sure.
|
Re: TV Talk's The LOST Game
I would agree. Much like Locke was considered dead, but later resurrected.
As opposed to Charlie in the first season, who was kinda dead but was resuscitated by Jack. |
Re: TV Talk's The LOST Game
Here's how the bets play out:
If it turns out that Young Ben truly died and is dead, then {052} (A child dies) does not come true because Young Ben already died. Unless they take him to a clinic while he's alive and dying and then he dies. There's overlap in {053} and {054} (Aaron shown) because one assumes Aaron is shown on the actual island. That has higher odds. |

At least I hope we don't. That's not the way I have been playing. I thought your active bets carried over each week automatically without any penalty. Can someone confirm if this is true? |
