A couple questions, Mr. Bus - Will we have all new choices for next week? Or maybe just some new ones, and others are still open to put money on? When one of the options comes true (particularly things like a gun being fired or foreign language being spoken), and it pays out to those who put money on it, I'm assuming that prediction/bet is done?

Nope, these choices are only here for this week, but they will carry over to other episodes. Certainly, we're pretty sure a gun will be fired and/or a foreign language will be spoken. But you may not get "paid" until that happens.

I think you'd have to say no in this scenario. At no point was he shown to have made it off the island. One can reasonably assume that he did when he turned the wheel, but one can't be certain of it yet.

But if he disappeared with the light flash, then, technically he would no longer be there. I guess you wouldn't know FOR SURE that he was off the island, but if in the later episode, you found out he DID make it off, then you'd have to somehow retroactively count those bets as winners, right? A problem I forsee is that sometimes what appears to be true (and may be given out as $$$) turns out not to be, later. Bets could be difficult to figure. Also, if the Losties flash back in time and see one of their own former dead, does that count, even though he's technically alive in his own time? A currently dead character has a scene while alive in the past?

This week you've got a budget of $24 among 10 predictions.

Next week, you'll have a budget of $X among Y predictions, as well as the money you won from this week. But you have to use your entire winnings each week.

You can't make a prediction on 1 through 10 after today at 8PM EST. Next week will be predictions 11 through 20. Some of the predictions may re-appear with higher or lower odds.

That's how I envisioned it originally at least. I hope it doesn't get hopelessly complicated to keep track of.
