I thought that was strange too, but it's clear she doesn't know him. I think she meant "you" as in the US Military.

That's what I think, too. It's LOST, though, so I can never be sure.

The way the scene was staged, with her saying it directly to Faraday and not Miles or Charlotte, made it seem like she knew him, but based on the rest of the ep I think it's more a general "you" than Daniel himself.

Well, didn't she say it to him right after Miles named Faraday the leader?

He's messing with you, someone mentioned it a few pages back right in this thread.
I dug it, also count me in the camp of Ellie= young Mrs. Hawking. Age, name, nationality, even the hairstyles are similar.

The giveaway for me about it being the 40s or 50's was Locke's line about the M1 rifle looking brand new, I know they're from that era so I had a pretty good hunch.

I wasn't supporting the 108 minute theory, just saying that the argument that it was dark after the last one and light when the next one happened wasn't sufficient enough to argue against it.

I don't buy the 108 minute theory at all. Faraday said the shifts can be five minutes of 5000 years! Or something to that effect. They know it's not a set time.

So, is this pretty much the hierarchy of the island?

Jacob

Richard

Widmore -> Ben -> Locke

That's what I'm guessing, but I think Richard lets those guys think they are in charge.

Re: Lost -- "Jughead" -- 1/28/09

I really hope this series ends with them
Spoiler:
stuck in an eternal time loop, killing themselves to get it to stop, or some Dark City-style explosion (w/o the pyschic warfare) ending em all.. a happy ending just can't be in the cards.

It really only seems fitting.

Re: Lost -- "Jughead" -- 1/28/09

that doesnt really explain anything about the red shirt thing.
only one of those people had on a red shirt, the other was plaid and the woman had a white shirt on.

I always liked the redshirt thing in season 1.

Re: Lost -- "Jughead" -- 1/28/09

I think widmore will kill locke and thats why hes exiled! And is Richard really never aging or perhaps he's stuck in a time loop too? To anyone else able to see the full history of the island, Locke and the bunch still onn the island would look as though they never aged.

Or maybe everyone just has radiation poisoning and is dieing and it's all scientifically explainable.

That doesn't necessarily negate the 108 minutes thing. What was "resetting" the island could have been able only to keep it constant in time for 108 minutes at a stretch.

IMHO, what negates it much, much more, is the fact this only started happening when Ben made the island move. You'd think it would have started to happen right around the time the Swan was destroyed.

Re: Lost -- "Jughead" -- 1/28/09

Locke gave Sawyer a 10 minute head-start. 10 out of 108 is a lot. A lot happened around that to only be 98 minutes.
