afterall, in the future she evidently had some medical skills as I doubt they'd let her administer an injection simply for being the sister of the immune girl

Or, maybe she spent six months on the run from a killer cyborg from the future with a pregnant woman and decided it would be a good idea to bone up on midwifery.

Having watched Heroes and Terminator from the beginning of each, I have always thought that Terminator was better storywise because of an internal logic. After checking out the official blog, you can totally see how meticulous and creative the writing really is.
I didn't catch the part with the General but they were talking from the Nuclear Plant that they saved so the timeline can be changed.

Is next week's show the last SHOT episode? It tanked again in the ratings this week (I think it got a 3.4), so if they don't have any other shows shot, next week's may serve as the series finale.
At least we know Ellison is back next week.

Trailer for T4 is out. I wish Thomas Dekker was more like Christian Bales' John Connor instead of a whiny emo brat.

Just watched the T4 trailer..hmm looks like they just tried to turn it into another lame disaster/action movie. There was one shot of a woman who looked slightly like Derrek's chick from the future but I'm pretty sure it was a different actress.

Glad you liked the link CPA-ESQ and Jury Duty; it's actually pretty cool with the sneak promos they usually link up there.
Shannon, I saw on tvbythenumbers, it got 5.21 in total viewers which is down from the 5.8 of last week but up from the 5.1 or 4.6 of three weeks and two weeks respectively. I can only hope the fall season ends strong to carry over onto fridays.

I've been thinking
the family was on board that Sarah was telling the truth way too quickly/easily
they have the minor car crash and then believe?
I can see it later on when cameron gets thrown through the window as they could see metal through her wounds, and the father would definitely be on board after he confronted the terminator and saw all the metal

I kind of agree, mike, but I just went with it assuming for time or budget reasons they didn't show anything definitive. Besides we've seen the "Oh my god it's a robot" reaction plenty of times. My bigger problem was the daughter immediately jumping on board with both feet when they got back to the cabin. I know the adaptability of the young is one of the themes, but it still didn't seem natural.

I thought that one of the reasons "they" were on board was because it was discovered that the Father was doing shady shit with the Tech company? It was like he kinda knew about advanced tech but not quite. So one he fessed up, it seemed that every had their eyes opened.
Also, the daughter was very unhappy and was ready for something new in her life. Sarah, a seemingly strong woman, comes a bustin' in with guns and Cyborgs and that kind of stuff was right up her alley. The whole family was dysfunctional. It seems a lot had been going on with the Mom and her lover, the Mom and Dad, and the daughter who seems like a loser to her parents. Even her Dad had made the messed up comment about her being a "nobody"...nice. I can see where they might believe in timely manner.

Put me down as another who can't believe how good this show is this season. It really is excellent, and I hope the move to Fridays doesn't mean its certain death.

Yeah, you're right...for some reason I was thinking they only got a 4-show extension, but that may have been before the full-season pick-up.

I think Shannon wasn't including the DVR numbers. And if you compare the show week-after-week at Fox, it's moved from their #15 program to #11, so it's moving up. I think being on Friday may kill that, but then again, who knows? Dollhouse is getting a LOT of buzz and they may couple well together for a niche viewership if nothing else.

I've really enjoyed the last two episodes. It's a better show for me when there's less John.
And isn't it time they stopped doing the same old thing with the terminators that clearly doesn't work? i.e. handguns, shotguns (except when it does for lazy writing's sake)
How about getting inventive? You can blind them just like anyone else, at least temporarily. They still move like people. Set traps when you know they are coming. Pits, tripwires, nets. You have a guy from the future that can surely come up with some more effective offensive weaponry.

Okay, so you can't sent anything inorganic back...however, they can send back a metal machine covered in skin. So, why don't you kill one of those guard dogs or take a dead one, cut it open and shove a laser gun or six inside it all Taun-taun-style?

The whole weaponry thing is my worst problem with the Terminator legacy. Ever since I saw the first movie.

Especially the terminators could hide an advance laser pistol or something like Cromartie did. But then again they probably don't have as much of an incentive since regular bullets kill us just fine.
