As a whole I didn't think this episode was really that great compared to the rest of season three so far. I felt sorry for Buddy this episode having to deal with his liberally brainwashed kids, I was also wondering where the hell was Matt, the vasoline song was cute, and I luaghed pretty hard at Billy talking about fitting three people in the bathtub. As far as next week, just like when Riggins took Street to Mexico, How the hell does he go to New York and continue to miss school.

That was a bit weird to me - not the Riggins part, but that they are setting him up to be a sports agent, which you'd think at a major agency, would require a law degree.
I'm also wondering what the fuck that ex-Panther, presumably still in college and playing that fall, was doing walking around with a sports agent.

I thought the whole idea of Street leaving to become a sports agent at age 20 w/o ever having attended any sort of college was pretty silly.

I know this was an observation from when it aired last fall, but they did establish that he was a few years older than Street. If Street was still playing he would be a Sophomore in college now. If the guy was that good, he would probably have left college early so it would be concievable for him to be in the pros. Maybe it was his NFL team's bye week. Honestly, when he showed up I thought he was going to buy the house.

And yes it is pretty silly that a guy that didn't graduate HS is about to walk into an office and be an agent. Although, they might start him off with a mail room gig, that is yet to be seen. Of course I wouldn't be surprised if they just give him a job as an agent and a huge salary. It's not like this show is entirely realistic as it is. I wish I could take out a loan and renovate a house that seemed pretty perfect to begin with and then flip it and make a few thousand profit in 30 days. In a bear real estate market.

I've been catching up with this season via the DVD set (I missed a few early episodes of the season and the DVD came out really quickly anyway, so just waited for it).
I, too, thought it was odd that Saracen and Julie were nowhere to be found... when McCoy was struggling, I knew they wouldn't turn to Saracen because he hadn't been in the episode at all. However, in the deleted scenes, there's a whole subplot with him and Julie having a falling out over some sketches Saracen did of the live-in caretaker from last season. I'm kinda sad they had to cut it out, it had some nice scenes, it actually referenced a plot line from last season, and had a great scene with Saracen and his mom.
