I thought it was really funny... not a classic, but still good...a bit of a step down from last year but I hear it's the weakest of the new batch anyhow... lots of great lines though. "Samesung", "That IS her signature!", "That happens all the time to my black husband"

and easily the best two lines were Tracey's about being sued and the Liz and Jack exchange about Grad students. "We aren't the worst people, graduate students are the worst people".

I thought that too. He was on Letterman a couple of days ago and he seems like he has since lost it.

Yes! At least Sarah Palin is good for something.

I don't think I've ever laughed harder than I did when I saw that bowler. I was expecting a different but equally inappropriate trucker cap. The bowler was sheer genius.

Alec Baldwin has been fat for a while so that is nothing new.

it is a shame shows like CSI, Greys Anatomy, and Who is more retarded than a 5th grader get better ratings.

I think CSI has been on since 2000 and people still watch that show?

Why the hell are people thanking Sarah Palin? The show did good because NBC has been advertising the fuck outta it for the past month. That and because many people probably thought this was the week Oprah was gonna be on. Opes brings in the ratings, she's like a fucking religion at this point.

It's an indirect "thanks" since it's really about Tina Fey.

Tina Fey is riding very high due to being brought/Shoved/Jumping into the Election with her Palin bits. Both SNL and 30 Rock can thank her for the boost in ratings.

Does Tina Fey look a bit skinnier? A might on the bony side. I personally like it when Fey has some junk in the trunk.

Don't be hatin' on CSI just because it does its job exceptionally well; it's hardly in the same category as "Are You Smarter than..." Not everyone wants to watch a comedy at the same time.

Tina Fey, and the show, wouldn't be getting so much attention without her.

And NBC promotes the fuck out of EVERY show, it still does no good.

I'm in the UK so I'm totally screwed when watching this show. I had to buy the S1 DVD boxset before it was shown on TV. Watching S2 on DVD now (heaven knows when that season would be shown here) and bought a season pass for season 3 on itunes, had to set up a US account for that (not an easy option but worth it!) I don't even want to guess what decade we would get this season in!
