Prison Break S4

Monday's Guilty Pleasure is Back!! I don't know about all of you, but I really excited about season 4 and the new direction it's heading.

Synopsis for Scylla & Breaking and Entering:

Spoiler:


As the fourth season opens, Michael is in L.A., looking to even the score with Gretchen for Sara's death, while Gretchen, Whistler and Mahone go about Company business. And in Panama, Sona has burned to the ground, with T-Bag, Bellick and Sucre unaccounted for. Meanwhile, Lincoln, LJ and Sofia are settling in as a family. Wyatt: Cress Williams. Pam Mahone: Callie Thorne. Don Self: Michael Rapaport.

The commercials make it look like it's going all Mod Squad now. I'm not sure if I'll like that but I'm very excited for the return.

Looks like the terrible photoshop on the 24 preview image.

I dropped this show an episode into last season. Thought I was done for good but the preview looked like they were done with the prison nonsense of last season so I'm giving it a try again. Hope it has more of the season 1 and 2 tone.

I thought season 3 was great. Sona was a great setting. I'm more worried that the season will be more like season 2 since they're not breaking out of a prison.

I think storytelling-wise, it makes perfect sense to focus a season with Michael and Lincoln attempting to solve the conspiracy once and for all and bring down The Company.

I liked some elements of season 3, but overall I wasn't a fan of Sona at all. The season wasn't executed very well and episodes just got really repetitive.

I am optimistic about the re-boot and shooting around Los Angeles instead of Texas and Florida for season 2 and 3.

This is the ultimate guilty pleasure...I just finished S3 on DVD last week so I'm pumped to see where they take this new season. Anybody know how many episodes are planned for this season?

Not sure how I feel about Sara coming back just yet.

Also, I think it was Entertainment Weekly that claimed that 3 "major" characters were going to die in the premiere

For some reason, TiVo decided that I didn't need to see tonight's episode of Prison Break. Fortunately, I got home right before Linc scuffled (and eventually shot) that dude. Could some generous soul give me a Patman-esque™ recap?

Scofield has been tracking Whistler, Mahone, and Gretchen, who were on a mission to get a datacard that has all the secrets of the company. Whistler kills some guy to get it, and makes a copy because he's really trying to bring the company down. Scofield finds Gretchen and is about to shoot her but she says that Sara is still alive and that it was a cadaver's head in the box.
He said he didn't believe her but Whistler gets his gun away and he leaves with Gretchen. She ends up meeting up notepad guy from the company who says that the card she got was a duplicate and that she failed. He tells some black guy to kill her. We don't see it happen.
Scofield calls Linc to ask him if he really saw Sara dead, and he says he was pretty sure. Linc tells Scofield that Sona burned down and TBag, Bellick, and Sucre escaped. Mahone find Scofield and tells him that Whistler wants to talk to him. Whistler tells Scofield that he was working for the company but really trying to bring them down from the inside. He says he has information about Sara but the black guy shoots and kills Whistler and takes the datacard back.


All that literally happened in like the first 20 minutes.

FOX greenlighted 22 episosdes. I assume that 13 will air this fall and the back 9 will air next Spring since 24 will be taking it's timeslot in January and Dollhouse will be on at 8pm.

If Dollhouse tanks, then there is a possibility it could return earlier.

But, if Dollhouse makes it, then expect the back 9 episodes to air in late March or early April.
