I liked him as well. Somebody like that is much more believable as a hitman, IMO, than somebody like Gretchen, who seems to really over-act in trying to be "evil."

Plus I remember him from Grey's Anatomy, where he played a big teddy bear type.

I thought it was weird (and little disappointing) that at the end of S3, T-Bag is happy in his new role as king of Sona, Bellick is scared shitless again, and Sucre just got thrown in...then all of a sudden to start S4, they're all free. Would have liked to see an episode or two of them getting out, but I suppose this was easier and much cheaper.

Some holy crap moments indeed like some people have mention. It does look like a mod squad thing but u got such great actors with their characters that will make it really good.

This show is friggin awesome. No matter how ridiculous, it's entertaining as hell. I was like holy shit, they just killed off 2 main characters in the first 10 minutes. Did you have some bad Mexican? line was the best from PB. I can't wait for next week.

I agree. The whole thing with Sucre getting buried at the end of last season was a bit of a cliffhanger, and just like that he's free, but oh well.

The whole-torso-tatoo removal was funny, but at least they had a reason for it (besides not wanting to have to apply all that every day), unlike the inexplicable longsleeve shirts worn in the sweltering Sona.

Besides the usual leaps, I thought it was a stellar premier. Michael wants revenge for what they did to Sara, Mahone wants revenge for his family--looks to be a great season.

P.S. I thought they played the scene with Michael meeting Sara perfectly: no words, no over-done music, the camera angle perfectly capturing Michael coming around the corner, Sara's white shirt against the white blinds--very nicely done.

I guess when they shot the hospital scene with Sucre, Camille Guaty thought she still had a job on Las Vegas.

Completely ridiculous but ultimately entertaining. Most hilarious is the explanation on how Sucre, Bellick and T-Bag got out. "Sona. Oh yeah, it burned down and everyone escaped." x 29484854

Wow what a first half hour ! Gretchen dead, Whistler dead !

Just when we thought it was gonna be hunt for Sara this season, we get Sara ! great move by the writers

Mahoney's family dead ! the Company has a much more sinister edge now.

that company hitman is a bad man

omigod full body tattoo removal in like 1 day ! lol, that would take years to remove that many tattoos and he'd be one big scar

Michael Rapport is a great addition to the cast

love the new asian kid super hacker geek. another cool addition to the cast

can't believe Tbag let himself get mugged, great stuff as always with Tbag in the desert

gretchen not dead !

I AM SUPERPUMPED FOR THIS SEASON !!!!

There is a chance my wife will finally dump this show. She was hedging at the end of last season.

Personally I've always thought this show does "24" better than "24". Great re-boot!

I agree. The whole thing with Sucre getting buried at the end of last season was a bit of a cliffhanger, and just like that he's free, but oh well.
Sucre being buried was not the last scene we saw with him last season. They unburied him after they realized he wasn't going to talk then they just threw him into SONA. That was the last we saw of him.
I agree that it would've been nice to see an episode or two with sucre/tbag/bellick getting out of SONA. It was a bit corny just to use the excuse that it burned down. Why didn't Michael think of that last season?? Just start a riot (like in season 1) and burn the place down.

Who was Michael writing that letter to in the beginning of the episode?

Any thoughts on why his nose was bleeding at the end? Did someone poison him?

Did she watch the season premiere? Seems like most here enjoyed it quite a bit.

Glad the show is back after a one year break for me. Awesome season premiere. Sure there was some off the wall stuff but I had come to expect that from watching the first 2 seasons.

Fantastic start!

Anyone get the humor of the combination in Whistler's Bird book?

I saw that and kept thinking that the writer of the episode was probably a Commodores fan.

Has T-Bag dabbled in cannibalism in the past?

Theres going to be a spinoff with a woman character being thrown in Sona. So they'll most likely explain what happened in that series.

36-24-36 (the combination) is part of the song "Brick House" and also references the ideal women's figure.

It finished #2 in it's timeslot and #2 in 18-49, so I think FOX will be very satisfied with those figures.

Plus, they moved the show to LA to reduce costs and that will help. If the show was still being done in Texas, then I might worry a little.

Remember? On 90210, he was the b-ball player Brandon was tutoring while he was banging his sociology professor's wife. Ah, the good ol' days of television.

Here's a pretty good Q & A with Wenworth Miller (Michael Scofield)

http://www.movieweb.com/tv/news/75/30975.php

Not really any spoilers but they do talk about the future of the show a bit.
