But will every other word out of Bobby Flay's mouth have to be bleeped?

The episode of it I saw was dated from 2005. I really miss their other series, Restaurant Makeover from their Canadian stations. They used to show it on Food Network all the time, but they pulled it last year sometime (still airs in Canada as far as I'm aware).

It looks like Restaurant Revamp was a 5 part special from 2005. UK Kitchen Nightmares started early 2004, so I guess it wins

This isn't too surprising, but Adam is getting his own show (though it doesn't seem like there will be a lot of cooking involved).

More info:
South Philly's Adam Gertler, one of two runners-up, is in L.A. shooting Will Work for Food. Gertler's half-hour Food Network show combines his comedy with a sense of adventure and premieres at 9:30 p.m. Sept. 30. It's not a cooking show, per se. Gertler will show how people in the food business do their jobs. Among them: potato chip inspector, shark feeder and dog-food taste-tester. Gertler, an actor and former waiter at Amada in Old City, coowned The Smoked Joint, a short-lived barbecue restaurant at the Academy House in Center City.
Note the prime-time slot for Adam's show, compared to Sunday afternoon for Aaron.

That doesn't sound like a bad premise. Could be interesting. I can see him in the realm of Mark Summers, George Duran, and Alton Brown... better know as a host rather that a chef.

I'll give it a watch.

Sounds like a FN version of Dirty Jobs. We'll see if Adam is as good as Mike Rowe.

Romulans shouldn't be on TV.

That's a tough standard to live up to. I think Mike Rowe is one of the best personalities on TV right now.
