Wow the previews for next week had a big spoiler. You might want to try to skip that if you don't want to know who the last cylon is.

yikes boring episode, this season better pick up or I'm not sure I'll be able to hang in after the inevitable 4-12 month break that it's going to take when the first half is done.

You know, I was watching the torrent from the Sky broadcast and they had some nice fun clips during the end credits back when the Cylons would attack the humans and the humans would shoot the Cylons.

I miss those times.

I was ready to give up during the crap-fest that was season 3 but when they announced that 4 would be the last I decided to stick it out and see how it ended. I'm beginning to seriously rethink that plan. I can't believe how flat-out awful this show has become.

Impossibly bad episode. It's inconceivable that the same people who came up with the first two seasons are writing this show.

So is the lawyer the cylon? He's seeing imaginary cats. I agree, lame episode. Although I don't really mind the end with Adama alone. And it's interesting that a Cylon is now in command of the Galactica.

I hate that lawyer character. Simply stupid tripe every time we see him.

That would not only be a colossal let down, but it would be incredibly stupid.

So it must be correct.

Due to slumping ratings, BSG creators to bring back updated opening narrative!

"There are those who believe... that life here... began out there. Far across the universe. With tribes of humans... who may have been the forefathers of the Democrats... or the Republicans... or the Whigs... that they may have been the architects of the line item vito... or the lost filibuster... or quorum call... Some believe that there may yet be brothers of man... who even now fight for the right to establish an investigative committee that will determine whether or not there should be the formation of an additional committee to discuss whether humanity can survive... far, far away amongst the stars..."

Yet the writers felt the need to drag out the decision just like they dragged out the inevitable mutiny aboard Starbuck's spaceship a few episodes ago.

What was the point of the lawyer pointing a gun at Lee? Just another melodramatic moment. This show has a habitat of setting up big showdowns that turn out to be letdowns: Tigh, Lee and a squadron of soldiers vs. Roslin and her aides when they go to arrest her, only to have Roslin give up; Pegasus vipers vs. Galactica vipers, only to have the fight get interrupted, etc.

How could Tigh get Six pregnant if they're both cylons?

Every time Tigh sees Six as Ellen, is he doing that cylon projection trick?

I can't believe Starbuck had nothing to say about Lee becoming President. She used to give him shit about being CAG and then Commander of Pegasus. Couldn't the writers think of anything to do with her?

Adama resigns because suddenly he can't live without Roslin? I had more respect for these characters and the show when these two were merely friends and colleagues.

Seasons 1 & 2 were great. Season 3 was okay. Season 4 has stunk so far, but I have hope that it will get better as the series winds down and ties up loose ends.

Oh yeah! Did anyone else hear Racetrack say "I can't see a fucking thing"? I rewound it and played it back 3 times. She clearly did not say "frakking."
Wow -- you said everything I wanted to say. Saved me lots of typing. Thanks.

And I agree about Racetrack. I rewound a couple of times too. And if you turn on the closed captions, they have "frakking" but it sure sounded like "fucking" to me.

No question in my mind...she said "fucking." Expect it to be cleaned up for rebroadcast and DVD, though.

I think we may have got our answer to that question with this episode.

I'm still in shock over the freefall in the interest I have in this show. I just hope the mid-season finale actually makes me want to see the rest.

For me, personally, it was a combination of the ridiculously long hiatus coupled with my own discovery of Lost. After watching the first season of Lost over the course of a month or so last winter, this new season of Galactica just isn't doing it for me anymore. I wasn't even terribly fired up before the new season started, but with the meandering pace, fan-fiction level story, and the promise of yet another year's wait before it's finally put out of it's misery, I've pretty much lost interest completely.

True, it's not really fare comparing the two, with three seasons of fresh material at your fingertips versus 10 episodes a year, but even if I hadn't started watching Lost, I don't think I would care about BSG anymore.
