definitely an interesting read, but I don't think we've seen more than a minute of this character all season. Not that people will forget who she is, but if they're setting up a big reveal for the 5th Cyclon to me it'd make more sense to have one that has some sort of storyline this season.

Of all the 'tier 2' characters (not shown in that last supper pic)...

- Feelix Gaeta's getting a lot of screen time lately and has had moments in earlier seasons where it seems like something's up. If it would be him, it'd make the scenes post-New Caprica interesting with Tyrol and Saul having tried to airlock him.

- Doc Cottle's had some screen time this season and is just a cool dude.

- VP Zarek's storyline this season seems to be simmering into something depending on what happens to President Roslin. Plus it's a great talking point to have a former actor on the original series now outed as a Cylon.

I was half expecting him to be smoking during surgery. That would have been awesome!

Was there a new eps last night (23 May)? My DVR didn't have anything and looking at the eps on the SciFi site they all kind of sound familiar, and of course there aren't any dates on anything....

That's a relief. I thought I had missed it too.

What is it with no shows having new episodes this week? No Lost. No Battlester.

Lost wasn't on because Grey's Anatomy had a two hour finale.

I think that Battlestar Galactica wasn't on because of Memorial Day weekend? Maybe?

Are they having a Mansquito marathon or something? Show it back-to-back all weekend?

Maybe throw in Groom Lake here and there, for variety?

Okay, can we "retire" this portion of the thread and keep on topic?

Agreed. Now if the episode was called "Guess What's Coming from Dinner", then maybe crapping would be appropriate.

I like Gaeta but it would be a big letdown to have him be the final cylon

I haven't read the full thread, but on another site they had the lyrics to the song baeta was singing. They were thinking it was clue to what is happening.

My theory:

(spoiler involves 5/30 episode info)
Spoiler:
I've had the suspicion that Helo is the final cylon. After hearing that Tigh has possibly impregnated Six, I am even more inclined to think Helo is the final cylon because he was also able to impregnate Athena...and before Tigh, it seemed like cylons could not get each other pregnant.

The recent talk about the resurrection ships being destroyed, and cylons becoming more human because life has more meaning (they can't keep resurrecting) supports this as well...and maybe even could be seen as a way of linking up cylons with present day humans on earth? That is a longshot, but just another thought I had.

I've pretty much given up on this show, after missing the last 2-3 episodes and not really worrying about catching up on them (based on what I've read online). Anyhoo, considering the direction the show is taking, here's my prediction on the final cylon.

Spoilerized because that's the trend for some reason:

Spoiler:
Saint Baltar will reach an epiphany, and will gather his followers (now numbering in the thousands) on the hanger deck for a pronouncement. For whatever reason, the military will have no problem with this. Baltar will announce that he knows the idendity of the final cylon.

"You see, the final cylon is not just a person. It's us. It's all of us. It's what makes us who we really are. It's not being a machine. It's a state of mind, a state of balance with the universe."

etc etc blah blah blah. The rest of the series will be a convoluted war between the fleet and the rogue skinjobs versus Cavel's crowd. Add in an incomprehensible, End of Evangelion style ending, and we're done!
