Throughout the 9 seasons, Elaine and George went through several jobs/bosses. Who would be your favorite boss?

Elaine had:
-Mr. Pitt
-J.Peterman
-Mr. Lippman from Pendant Publishing

George had:
-George Steinbrenner (Yankees)
-Mr. Wilhelm (Yankees)
-Real Estate boss (1st/2nd season)
-Kruger (9th season)

Tough call for Elaine. I'll go with J. Peterman over Mr. Pitt.

George is easy - Big Stein.

I'm going with Peterman and Steinbrenner...

Was Kruger the boss that had the meetings when George wanted the nickname "KoKo"?

I'd agree with Peterman and Steinbrenner.

Peterman and Big Stein.

I'd be shocked if this wasn't a runaway vote... I am a bit partial to Kruger, but gotta go with Big Stein.

Who was George's boss at Play Now when he was driving the Rascal ("The Butter Shave")?

Yes. ("well, maybe there should be a gammy...")
George: "Gammy's getting upset!"

Wasn't Kruger the boss where George tried to leave the meetings while on "a high note?"

Peterman (though Mr. Pitt is a close second) and Steinbrenner.

Mr. Thomassoulo played by the late Gordon Jump. He was Arthur Carlson on "WKRP" and one of the "Maytag Repairmen."

Kruger was the only boss invited to share Festivus dinner.

Kruger was the best, followed closely by Stein and Peterman.

George actually wanted the nickname T-Bone, but someone else got it. Then Kruger gave him Koko when George was...being George-ish about the whole T-Bone situation. George hated the Koko nickname and hired someone with that name, hence he was ultimately named Gammy. /nerd

I'm also going with Peterman and Steinbrenner.

EDIT: In thinking about it, I'd actually have to go with Kruger over Steinbrenner. Looking back, the Steinbrenner character was too goofy, and you could always tell his dialog wasn't recorded on-set.

Thats why he's my favorite?

That's right because Kruger wouldn't stand for two Koko's

Sounds like he runs a pretty tight ship [/QUOTE]

Kruger. SO ridiculous, I loved him! He's good in that first season of Malcolm in the Middle as Francis's commandant, too.

J. Peterman takes the cake. I think it has a butter-based frosting...

Wow, tough call between Pitt and Peterman. I'll have to go with Pitt though, with Peterman a very, very close second.

Kruger was my favorite of George's bosses.

Peterman and Steinbrenner!

Peterman and Kruger.

I also liked Mr. Thomassoulo at Play Now. Steinbrenner was a one-trick pony. It was funny a few times, but got old quick.

Its been awhile since I've seen the episodes (there were two) that had Mr. Thomassoulo at Play Now, but there must have been a reason why George moved on so quick from Play Now to work for Mr. Kruger? (And I'll bet Gordon Jump was awful disappointed to have been "let go," not knowing Seinfeld would be off the air very soon.)

After Kramer and his intern's oil in the rubber ball experiment, Play Now was sued by the the chick with the talking belly button, and had to file for bankruptcy.

Definitely J. Peterman for Elaine.

Big Stein seems like the obvious choice for George, but Kruger gave me that awesome line I use at work every week: "I'm not too worried about it."

Mr. Peterman: Elaine, up until a few minutes ago, I was convinced I was on the receiving end of the oldest baker's grift in the books - The Enterman's Shim Sham. Until I remembered my security camera, which I installed to catch other Walter using my latrine.
Elaine: But, Mr. Peterman, I...
Mr. Peterman: Elaine, I have a question for you - is the item still with you?
Elaine: I guess so...
Mr. Peterman: Elaine, do you have any idea what happens to a butter-based frosting after sitting 60 years in a poorly ventilated English basement? I have a feeling that what you are about to go through is punishment enough. Dismissed.

Cushman: I gotta tell you, you are the complete opposite of every applicant we've seen. Mr. Steinbrenner, sir. There's someone here I'd like you to meet. This is Mr. Costanza. He is one of the applicants.
George Steinbrenner: Nice to meet you.
George Costanza: Well, I wish I could say the same, but I must say, with all due respect, I find it very hard to see the logic behind some of the moves you have made with this fine organization. In the past twenty years, you have caused myself, and the city of New York, a good deal of distress as we have watched you take our beloved Yankees and reduced them to a laughing stock, all for the glorification of your massive ego.
George Steinbrenner: Hire this man!
